Haven't checked on this thread in a month or so, but it seems like I didn't miss anything. Nothing new about the show, just more of Haydens old retweeted jokes.
You know initially I thought, that Hayden might at least sucker some people in with the whole "4chan is bullying us"-drama, since that go at least a bit of media coverage and some response from the target audience - although a mixed response even back then. But he's been unable to follow up on that initial attention. On the internet drama dries up really fast, unless it is followed by even more drama.
By now nobody cares anymore (Ok - the Kiwifarm still cares - but that's a special case). With every day the project is postponed, the chance of it succeding grows even slimmer. They should have started their "We are gangstalked by misogynists"-campaign only after they had completed the first few episodes.

That was an incredibly incompetent bungling of the trick, which is to attract attention with controversy and then direct the attention to some actual product you're hawking.
Whining that you're being stalked over something you haven't even done yet doesn't work, especially when it becomes immediately apparent (even to tumblr) that the reason you're being mocked is your product not only doesn't exist but looks like shit in advance.

Here's what we know so far:
Hayden Black announced that he would make Gen Zed in early 2015, the show was set to be released in the final quarter of the year. Eventually an end date of 1st of November was set. However Hayden didn't release Gen Zed. The project was moved to the 1st of December but wasn't released. The studio has now announced that they dropped their 2d artist and 2d animator aand instead are now collabing with some 3d animators who will likely animate the whole show on Gmod; not only that but the set release date is now May. And Gen Zed better get released soon before it falls into obsurity and will not profit anything.

He was probably too broke to pay for it so it was an actual embarrassment.
Also, nobody likes that place. Why would anyone not know it sucks by now and is a gimmick restaurant that solely exists to try to capitalize on a popular movie?

His about.me page says he went to the King David High School (much like a catholic school, except for Jews). Google maps says there are least two in the UK and none in the US, so he's most likely Jewish and didn't grow up in the states.

Just use a bunch of generic models, some red-haired dude for Shona, and random voice clips as they alternate between playing their spaceship videogame/getting killed by Half-Life monsters and living a generic life. Hayden Black's 'character' speaks in only audio clips of the real Hayden Black, too.
I mean, that'd probably be cheaper and faster to make.
