Looking at the IMDb page, a lot of these actors seem to have legit careers. I think it's more likely that everyone involved gave minimal efforts, seeing as they weren't getting paid.

By the way, I'm more and more convinced the animator has quit. When was the last time we saw anything from him?
He hasn't shown so much as a single drawing in months.

Good. He jumped off a sinking ship. Hopefully his name won't be attached to the final product, if it ever comes out, so that could save him a lot of damage.
 
Has Hayden ever participated in something like a stand-up comedy place where people are forced to endure his jokes?

He strikes me as the type of person that avoids public events specifically because he wouldn't be able to handle everyone's reactions to his anti-comedy.

Even Julie seems to be disengaging from this shitshow: not a single tweet about Gen Zed in the past week.

I really wonder where the rest of the cast and crew stand. Hayden must be a pain to work with, and they don't even have the perspective of paycheck.
Hayden and Jules are our only sources, so we'll probably never know for sure whether people have left the project. But since they don't seem to be producing any new content...
 
After really looking at some of the jokes the Gen Zed crew have told, I can say that they are about as fucking funny as those minion "memes" middle-aged moms post on Facebook.

In that case, Julie can't play Shona because she's not a green-eyed redhead.
And all of the remaining cast members must be played by a black guy who looks like a caricature, a rich Asian girl with a purple streak in her hair and a drug problem, and a cis white male who hates everyone. And they all must be the same ages as their characters.

If they can play the part and breathe life into the character, then who gives a shit?
 
Honestly, if they did use two lesbian actors, the next complaint would be something like them being an unrealistic depiction of lgbtqabc couples or some shit. There is literally no winning with these people, so I'm always glad when I see them pissed off over some quibbling detail in some piece of inconsequential media.
More on-topic, has anyone tried asking the man himself about the release date? I mean recently. Watch, it'll be like 2 pages back and I'm gonna look the fool for asking without checking around more. :P
 
Hayden had better hurry up and get Gen Zed out before everyone forgets about the first Force Awakens trailer. It's relevancy is the only thing going for that ending gag in the promo since it's not funny, and if it comes out next January, they've wasted even more time with the show by putting in an outdated joke.

Mind you, the pilot's title shows that they're already on a roll with the outdated jokes, so maybe it won't matter, since all the greatest shows have had no longevity whatsoever too, right?

Starbucks changed their holiday cups red and now all these crazy conservatives are turning red too.

I've been looking at this for a solid minute, trying to decipher whatever in the hell it's trying to say, but I just can't. Are they talking about how republicans use the color red instead of blue like the democrats? What in the hell does Starbucks have to do with it? Where's the irony? Do they think the republicans are upset about the cups and turning red with anger for some reason? How did Hayden sit down at his computer and type that out thinking it made sense and was funny?

I think it was him trying to go for a war on Christmas joke, but due to crippling anticompetence and autism could not understand his target. Alternatively he's saying that GOP members are mad because Starbucks is liberal or some shit like that. As for how he sat down and thought it was funny; Hayden is a delusional retard still clinging to his mom's praise.
