Can't be arsed to simply reupload a trailer, but can be arsed when money can be involved. Man Hayden Black is a greedy bitch who probably is a scammer with that attitude.

The worst thing is, not re-uploading the trailer ASAP is a terrible decision from a business standpoint.
Having it online should be their first priority since that literally the only thing they have to show so far. They can't peddle their show if they don't have so much as a trailer, they can't sell merch based only on their Twitter ~jokes~.

Even if contesting a deletion on Youtube takes time , they should've hosted the trailer somewhere else.
What do they do instead? Dick around on social media... and leave up the old Youtube links everywhere.
So if anyone is interested in their shitshow and wants to watch the trailer, the first thing they will see is "deleted for spam/scamming".

I can see why Hayden has trouble paying his taxes if all of his business decisions are that good :story:

Not exactly a good thing for your suckers to see when you are in fact a scammer.

It seems like maybe they're going to give up on it. Honestly the idea never caught on to the Tumblr market any way and that as the only group that might have bought into it.

Yeah, that's my feeling too. They're going to let it drop quietly, Hayden will mention it as another of his totally awesome award-winning groundbreaking projects and move on to another stillborn idea.

As for Julie, it's OK, she has other mega-important projects lined up.

1) Nobody cares about it...
2) Apart from us (he keeps tabs on this thread)
3) why bother if the only viewers are people who'll hate it. You can't farm them for merchandise.


Hayden is a grifter, maybe even an idiot but he isn't exceptional. He can see that the (tiny) effort on his part probably isn't worth it. I wouldn't be surprised if the animator quit by now either.

I agree, it looks like he may have given up. So sad that we couldn't get just one finished episode to laugh at.

I'm sure when he inevitably sets up his biography somewhere it'll mention the groundbreaking show Gen Zed which was wiped off the face of the earth by the evil Kitlen & Kiwis, an evil hacker group from Redchanit.

Redbubble is print on demand, they'll only produce a piece of merch if someone actually orders it.
He's not gonna have huge stocks of unsold merchandise.

The original investment was probably very small: no one got paid, it was recorded in Hayden's living room and he probably used leftover equipment from filming his previous shows. Even the jokes are recycled.
 
Looking back at what people say here, I think the reason Hayden hasn't gotten the trailer back up again is because he knows that he will be swarmed with "The Midnight Animal" claim. He reads this forum, he's seen the evidence and the controversy that has been stirred up. He's either going to have to make a new trailer that takes out his claims and markets it as an animated American version of "The Young Ones", only with shittier jokes, and the people being even more unlikable than their intentionally repulsive predecessors.
