The difference is that Meowth isn't transgender in-universe, in fact, he(?) isn't even human. Shona on the other hand is not only a transgender human being, but this is also her single defining characteristic.
For the Gen Zed team, having "the world's first lead trans actress" means: Having the first trans actress who voices a character who is also transgender in-universe and is nothing but transgender transgender transgender.

I present "The Midnight Animals", an anime about a bar that animals in the Serengeti go to at night to talk about transgender life and issues. Every single character is either transgender or nonbinary, and every voice actor is either transgender or nonbinary.

Sometimes, I'd really like to see the thought processes of someone as delusional as Hayden. Or even Miss "first trans voice actor." Like, what exactly happened to them to make them like this? What...possessed them to create this show? And also I kind of want to see their reactions to this thread up close. That'd be hilarious.

I lost a minute and a half of my life watching that that I'll never get back. :heart-empty:

Is that all? Justin Beiber songs a song, and Anne Frank asks him to stop? And he does. Even the proposed "punchline" wouldn't have helped, because it would just be her getting captured by Nazis, certainly dooming her. Is this the Emmy award winning writing Hayden thinks will get him critical acclaim?
