Oh shit, you're right, I wasn't paying attention to the account. Wonder how long it'll be before it shows up on Shona's, assuming it is an attempted joke.

Because some people just don't care. Who has time for logical consistency when you're writing the hands down greatest sketch of all time? Do you think the people who work on other forms of media waste time with things like "details" and "competent story telling" and "actually being funny"? That's not the Hayden Black way.
 
You know, I might sound kinda douchey when I saw this, but I think the sketch should've ended with Anne Frank being taken away. Yes it would be unfunny, but at least then there'd be a punch line. Here, he just sort of slightly annoys her for a bit, and then leaves. Otherwise, there's no point.

Another more simple change would be to have it be another writer that's bugging Anne Frank. Maybe have it be Hitler or something and it's like Anne Frank criticizing him at like a creative writing class. The cut to him writing Mein Kampf in edgy rage over a Jewish girl schooling him in writing. Everything from juxtoposition to idea to relevence in Hayden Black's joke is shit.

I don't know Japanese, so I really have no clue what is being said in this anime, but just from looking at it- I can tell it's at least 30x's better than Gen Zed.
