Hasan is there to echo what his "friends" "believe". As far as real opinions go, he is less and more left than he makes himself out to be. Deep down, he will support whatever he believes will grant him the harem and Rolexes his inner, bullied fat kid desires. He supports the left because Cenk does and he needed his support back when he started. Now, it is merely part of his brand, not belief.Honestly, DSP would probably make a better politics streamer than Hasan makes a politics streamer. You really need to be unbelievably stupid to think Hasan’s streams have any political insight, Phil could not possibly be worse.
I think it is because his audience in particular does not care about that conflict and thus they did not feel like throwing him under the bus. If he was on the right, they would have.That's not enough to convince his audience. For most it's that celebrities primarily sided with Ukraine, for others it's the fact that Russia is so obviously allied with the right wing (note the keyword allied. You can't get much more right wing than a religious theocracy, but somehow they believe that Hamas is leftwing)
