It’s insane the amount of hate this guy has for a country that has never done anything to him at all. His hatred for Israel is clearly based on stupid leftist bullshit, but at least Israel is doing things that a person can feel strongly about. What has Taiwan ever done to him? That he thinks that they need to be conquered and destroyed.

Back on Leftovers he compared Taiwan to the slave owners of the Confederacy and bemoaning the fact that the Communists didn’t get to kill more of them. My family fled to Taiwan in 1950. Some of my family stayed behind, my grandfather’s little sister for example. She was tortured as a teenager during the Cultural Revolution which I’m sure Hasan thinks was one small act of justice.

That's not enough to convince his audience. For most it's that celebrities primarily sided with Ukraine, for others it's the fact that Russia is so obviously allied with the right wing (note the keyword allied. You can't get much more right wing than a religious theocracy, but somehow they believe that Hamas is leftwing)
