I think all that is arguably worse than the shock collar shit. Not saying the collar shit is good but theres a twisted way to understand it, even if using the dog as a prop and shocking because they don't want to stay put for 5 hours is stupid, you can AT LEAST dismiss that as being too focused on stream image, wanting a dog prop, and not necessarily SADISM. If it's at a stage where shots are being fired, you already fucked up so you might as well live to fuck up another day, majority of your job is ensuring that isn't the outcome. The only Guards I knew of who'd eat a bullet when i worked in that sector were the big boy private security, who got the big major bucks who knew that if they died protecting someone their family would never worry about money again, generational wealth payouts levels. But your average joe private security working for normie tier wages? Nah absolutely not.

At a high enough level of pay? They'd be willing, but its usually not a factor. But the vast majority of private security are just there to look threatening, and provide numbers in less-lethal situations. There's very little private citizens can do to truly avoid being injured or killed from a sufficiently determined attacker, Private Security is more about reducing a potential attackers opportunities and options to "with a gun, out in the open" which turns it into a suicide attack for the most part.

And if someone is still that dedicated or crazy, the bodyguards job is to try and get them to help. Even if you have armed security, any shooting back they do is more about protecting themselves than you at that point, the client is either hit or not but now they're threatened by a guy with a gun too.

Anything Hasan could afford would be just a couple dudes to stand near him and push back anyone who gets too close, make any less-lethal altercation a foregone conclusion, two dudes can tackle down any one normal dude and make him regret it, easy.
