While there's obviously some pretty twisted teachers out there, I think they're very much the minority. Most teachers are just happy if they can get their kids to show up to class and, if they're really lucky, get them to participate. I think some of the more wild views kids get these days is more from the internet than anything else. Streamers like Hasan being a prime example, but also just randos on sites like Tumblr and Reddit
