Maybe, but he should have followed it up with "kill his appointment, I mean". He didn't, he went immediately from "kill Rick Scott" to explaining who he was, didn't miss a beat or hesitate about his phrasing. Maybe he later clarified on Twitter or wherever, but he still didn't have that instinctual recognition that he might have said something wrong.

I fine with Hasan getting slapped for being a terminally retarded leftists, instead of being an imminently violent leftist. Let him go on his Destiny arc.

Trump can't get anyone banned what he can do is point various institutions in Twitch's direction to investigate if they are spreading terrorist propaganda and calling for political violence.
It would be up to Twitch and Amazon to do shit under media pressure as Hasan wouldn't face any legal repercussions unless they investigate and find he sends money to terrorist groups.
It's not illegal to say you support terrorists, but funding them is and his call of violence will at most just be a visit.
It would also raise questions like why are Democrats willingly try to cater to such a person.
 
The only thing shocking about the Trash Taste podcast is that Hasan would go on in the first place. These niggas had a multi-hour podcast episode where the guest was GenoSamuel, the Chris-chan documentarian, post-Barb incest. If Hasan actually knew how Kiwi Farms adjacent they are, he never would've done it, but at this point we all know how little research he does.

That's pretty much me. Before Willy's videos I only barely knew Hasan as some socialist weirdo, couldn't tell you anything specific about him. If a lolcow isn't somebody you used to follow who became shite, or infamous in general, you'll need some kind of introduction to them.
 
Im honestly surprised Hasan got banned for a such a comparatively tame comment. despite claiming to be a communist, he constantly defends right wing Islamist and nationalist movements as well as any state opposed to the US. I thought for sure interviewing the houthi kid and comparing him to Anne Frank might get him banned, or any of the other fuck shit hes said. I guess twitch got scared because it was a US senator this time, somebody with an actual degree of political power. Obviously Hasan isnt really affected by such a weak ban, and he will continue to say stupid shit, since its all of very little concequence. He never backs it up either, he just ends up voting and advocating for the dems anyway.

I’d argue they won’t bend at all for extremists, but they’ll break in half for money and clout, content and headlines. He brings in huge amounts of money and, imho more importantly, inflammatory headlines that bring people in and get them watching. There’s people out there that will spend thousands of dollars to superchat/give bits wtf ever it’s called now to ensure their message is seen, even if it’s calling them a cunt. Those boosts to the algorithm are one thing that keeps twitch as relevant as it is.

Basically someone like Hassan is $, clout, and content regardless if he’s loved or hated. People like Hassan are kind of an entire industry in and of themselves and twitch has recognized how well reactionary content does.
