I kinda love how this brings a lot of attention to kick. Trump livestream on it, and made more public on twitch from people freaking out. This is some of the best advertising for it I've seen.
I've said this before to friends, but competition is good for companies. nobody wants a monopoly. it's good to see the idea of Kick/Rumble being an actual platform people go to. It's been far too long with Twitch's favoritism on TOS, their insufferable ads, the shift in creator payouts because Twitch isn't profitable.
It's amazing how for 10 years jeff bezos can't figure out how to turn his cash burn into a profit, but a billionaire casino owner can and manage to do it without running ads on their platform.
I encourage it and then some. Even though I disagree with some of the shit Kick allows, I'm glad to see Twitch get knocked down a few pegs.
I know it's already a given since Joe Biden's fuckups, but if Trump keeps the PR up, Kamala is ruined. If 500,000 viewers are willing to watch Trump fuck around with a few zoomers for a few hours when Adin only averages 50k viewers, it really shows what direction this country is going in.
