I'll admit my wording was sloppy but I'll accept that Hasan's claimed opinions aren't crypto-tankie the day he offers a meaningful criticism of any authoritative communist government like China or the USSR. I've seen him back down from criticizing China at least once on the farms concerning Tibet (which I personally don't give a shit about but I'm not going to defend it by claiming the Tibetans were feudal savages therefore they had no right of sovereignty like Hasan claimed [why, when confronted with the question by Ethan Klein is he unwilling to even make a milquetoast 90s era bumper sticker criticism of China when he never goes to China?]).
At best he's an aligned fifth columnist. He also in my opinion attempts to brand himself as a tankie using soviet style propaganda imagery, see his red flag picture.
More likely though it's all just a grift because he wormed into a blue water market of people pandering to communist simps because no establishment media was doing that openly at the time. Consequently his viewpoints naturally are pro identity politics and pro sex worker because that's what the zoomer crowd buys. A true and honest tankie would've fought with his audience over it because tankies have principles (albeit fucked up ones on balance). That could also account for his China guarding because China is still vaguely popular even amongst Western degens the CPC would likely reject from party membership.
Despite Hasan being a hypocrite, you likely understood what I meant. He cultivates a certain political audience, and they don't want to just throw money at him for being on the beach.

I mean, he was initially a "dudebro" that did segments on TYT about "banging chicks" and shit like that. It got him in hot water and he stopped, and now all of a sudden he's a feminist.

I doubt he would switch to right wing though because statistically the left is more popular. (when everyone shows up to vote, the Democrats tend to win. When voter turnout is low, Republicans win) He's after money, and that means supporting what's popular.

I think he'd need to feel "wronged" by his own fans before that would ever be possible, and even then, he actually seems to have come to believe communism is legit. Communism was never exactly popular, the generic left was. Communism represents only the extreme fringe of the left. He found and fell in love with communism all on his own, probably because he's retarded.

I'm a little bit confused though, i've seen people say he's buried in the algorithm for his anti Israel takes; How is this possible? If you watch hasan, how does the mythical algo boost help or hurt you? Sure, he's not gonna grow, but wouldn't his numbers be the same?

This might as well be conformation (to me at least) that Hasan dosen't believe in anything he says, and is only interested in views. Sure, it was obvious from how much of a hypocrite he is, but the fact he is making a huge stink about his view count is such a telling sign. God, political grifters are such fucking faggots.
