Hasan made a dumb comment. Asmongold made a video agreeing with the dumb comment. That's why people are talking about him in the thread and in relation to the dumb comment Hasan made.

Hasan Piker was on record being one of the worst Let’s Play gamers when he couldn’t even play Dark Souls correctly, and now he wants to act as if a shady company like Sweet Baby, Inc. really is a place for actual gamers who are being displaced by “gamers” that don’t know about, or care, for video games?
