I work a 9 to 5 specifically so that at 5pm I clock out and I generally can just head home and stop thinking about work for the next 16+ hours. I don't begrudge my manager a single cent of the money he makes that is more than me because that nigga cannot just unplug when quitting time rolls around.

My job is some days extremely mentally taxing, but even on the worst day I do not compare my airconditioned white collar paper pushing to even the UPS guy having to move amazon boxed in 100 degree heat or 10 degree ice.

Yes its very difficult not to stream but you have you work hard to manage your "brand". You can't take a day off, you have to show up even if you're not feeling it or take the hit. You are being watched and judged.

I'm enjoying the deserved implosion of breadtube. It's been a fun ride.

The only stress from streaming is the looming advertisement revenue, which makes video creation and to a lesser extent, streaming, an unstable job. If you're lucky and hit the algorithm jackpot, you made a year's worth of income of an average wagie. If not, you're making less than the guy slapping burgers at McDonald's. The only stressful aspect is "job" security.

Once you make it big, you become a manager of sorts, employing a small team to pump the videos out. That can be stressful for sure where multiple timelines must be managed, and you must respond almost within 48 hours to any big events. Every YouTube geopolitics grifter with basically zero understanding of the world wishes China invades Taiwan next week, Israel scatterbombs Gaza and Russia nukes Kyiv. They don't care about the people suffering from these politics, it's soulless. If the video wasn't a hit or gets demonetised for whatever dumb reason, they're likely in financial ruin for the month.

There is no union (LOL) for "streamers" and "video creators", so YouTube and Twitch can fuck them in the ass tomorrow and they can do nothing about it. Real jobs have these, at least in the first world.

Wanna know why there's no security? Because streaming isn't a real job. Statistically, barely anyone can make a job out of streaming. This turkroach is in the top 1% larping as a socialist.
