Absolutely true. I can't recall where I heard it exactly (I wanna say either Destiny or Hasan himself said something at some point?) but apparently Hasan was basically 'courted' by Twitch employees into becoming a streamer on their site. I know he gave up after his initial attempt as well before ultimately returning to the platform almost a year later and has been streaming ever since.
Isn't it insane how people like Vaush and Hasan think they are some sort of revolutionaries fighting the system when Jeff Bezo owned Twitch champions them? When quite literally one of the largest corporations in the entire world is promoting your politics you are the establishment.

This came after over an hour of a circular argument about "From The River To The Sea" where Ethan had accidentally compared Jewish Voice for Peace to Kapos (Jewish Nazi collaborators) and suggested he could find Palestinians who supported occupation before comparing anti-Zionist protesters to Southerners who waved the Confederate flag as their heritage. Hasan had specifically pleaded with him to stop making those comparisons.
It makes me challenge the hell out of myself when i find myself agreeing with him. I think israel is going a bit overboard, and should try a bit harder to limit civilians getting caught up in the war, it sucks to see all the kids getting fucked up. That said, I can understand WHY israel is reacting the way they are, and I can't say i wouldn't do the same thing. I'm sure I don't understand all the ins and outs of what's going on there, so I never really lash out at folks i disagree with. Short of them gloating over gaza getting bombed to shit and gleefully mocking what is happening there. It's complex, and a lot of nuance exists, but Hasan is too fucking stupid to understand even the basic level of what is going on there.
The only real answer to this problem is "both parties are at fault, this conflict was inevitable and they should work it out themselves without outside interference". Ethan and Hasan are just such tiny brained reddit tier faggots that they HAVE to take a side and defend their side to the death.
