Second, I'm only vaguely aware of BadEmpanada as an unsavory character in the orbits of Hasan/Destiny/Ethan, but just clicking through this video, I can see it to be an interesting down-to-earth view of Cuba that's empathetic to common people. Recognizing that BadEmpanada is wanting to say "embargo bad", I immediately get the impression that he does a much better job of presenting that case with his time in Havana than Hasan has done so far. Hasan promised to show Americans "regular experiences of regular Cuban folks," but all he seems to have done is have a few shoddy livestreams in a room (largely NOT talking about Cuba) and interviews with "important people" arranged for him by other people and approved by the regime. Sure, BadEmpanada has the advantage of speaking Spanish himself, but Hasan certainly has the resources to have hired a tagalong translator for similar on-the-street interviews if he was inclined to do so.
It's also funny that BadEmpanada interviews homeless people, which Hasan says doesn't exist in Cuba.
