I’m not much of a dog person (very good reason why is because my grandma’s dog that was put down a few months back from health issues was an absolute asshole to my cats) but Jesus fucking Christ even I wouldn’t use a shock collar.

Where’s Animal Control when you need them? Cause this is sickening. Though the memes on the other hand are uh… something?

I agree snakes are not pets, i generally find "pets" for non-practical purposes kind of retarded. A pet dog can provide great assistance for hunting and herding, a pet goat is great for weed control, a pet cat is great to keep the house clear of mice and other pests, etc etc. Owning a snake i find dumb as I do keeping a dog because it's heckin cuterino rather than you needing one, especially if you are going to leave it alone at home for 8 or so hours every day because your work does not require one (Maybe there's an argument if you got a child and the dog is the last thing that stands between your baby and a home intruder when both parents are away, alongside keeping the child company and/or giving the child a lesson about grief once the dog inevitably passes away so he can learn to process that before it happens to any family member, but this only makes sense if you're not childless), at that point just get a cat, or if you want something that you can nurture and take care of, consider having a fucking baby for once and getting the damn white birthrates up.

Chow Chows are intelligent and strong as hell. They're on the same list as Pit-Bulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers for not being covered in house insurance. Motherfuckers can wreck your ass if you're not properly socializing them or taking good care of them. Its common for dog groomers have the worst time trying to work on Chow Chows because they'll bite the fuck out of them and the bite wound can be deep.

Here's a reddit post discussing getting bitten by a chow chow with a picture. The bite doesn't look bad but the puncturing is clearly deep.

There's two objects on the same strap. The resolution is shit, but you can tell that they're not attached and are on different planes as the dog moves. The lower one is the Mini-Educator e-collar (or something virtually identical to it). The higher one is an AirTag in a holder. Both of these can slide on next to each other no problem:

You chain a dog up outside for the dogs safety. Once somebody gets bit by a dog over here there is an extremely good chance that the dog is going to be put down if that person complains.
