With such a background why did he choose political grifting on a livestreaming platform? It seems like a stressful, soul killing job. He is always malding, always arguing with someone, this doesn't seem healthy. Why didn't he choose nepo position to get an easy bag, and peaceful life? Is the attention from parasocial drones so addictive?
Because after 2014-2016, politics became the easiest thing to grift on. EXTREMELY easy. The fanbase of any breadtuber and political youtubers in general will only give a shit about a streamer's (main) political opinions aligning with theirs. Not a single one of his fans will ever hold him accountable, even if he says the most hypocritical poli-slop on the planet or does things that go completely against his ideology. I mean shit, the interview with Houthi terrorists and watching live hijackings on stream went on for a while and no-one seemed to give a shit but his detractors.
Twitch is also like the least stressful job on the planet. He sets his own hours, gets paid like 100k+ a month, talks about whatever he chooses to talk about, and gets to have a lot of control over twitch itself. Who cares if he's malding, he'll probably forget about it a minute later. The grocery store wagecuck can eat his heart out.
Hasan does have a political background. He did work on the young twinks for a while, so it's not unthinkable that he would pursue his own political career on a site that caters more to a younger generation. But yes, it is likely addictive for him to have fans who worship him. He's clearly got an ego and wants to be seen as a public figure, but doesn't want the responsibility of actually having to follow his ideals.
It's much easier to sit back, grift, and jerk himself off to the idea that he's this know-it-all visionary. In reality, he only barely passed a poli-sci course, the easiest fucking course in uni.
I don't see how, by Hasan's purported viewpoint, any "leftist revolution" (and of course these morons want it to be violent) results in anything other than the execution of himself and his parents. His entire fucking family is everything he's supposed to be against. You couldn't make him more of an obvious target of violent revolution if you tried. He's the most useful idiot for now, and he's in a rude awakening when he's no longer useful.
Plus, anyone in the right mind knows a leftist revolution won't happen. r/antiwork is evidence that most socialists and commies are too lazy to actually join in a revolution because it would get in the way of watching anime and molesting their body pillows. So he can grift as much as he likes without responsibility or accountability.
