Seeing the first movie with a live orchestra - theater is packed, troons stay mad lol
 
HP managed to do the tricky problem of having world building that's appealing, accessible and complex, but not too retarded while also being very child friendly.
It sounds like it should be very easy but the only franchise comparable is Star Wars.

They already did that in one of the stage productions, and JKR tried to say, "I never specified that Hermione was white!" but she did.

So yeah, Hermione will absolutely be a Nigerian straight off the refugee boat.
 
I rewatched all of the movies after more than a decade of not seeing some of them. I forgot how terrifying some of the scenes are. The ones that scared me the most as a kid were Voldemort drinking unicorn blood, Peter Pettigrew on the marauder's map, and that damn ugly ass shriveled up Voldemort from the last movie.

I lost sleep over those scenes but damn I'm glad they weren't sanatized for kiddos. The horror aspect is awesome.
 
One of the things that's always bugged me about the Potterverse is the convoluted wizarding monetary system... I mean, you would THINK that they'd eventually change that into some sort of decimal-based system EVENTUALLY, but nooooooooo...

(Yeah, yeah, I know, here come the puzzle pieces... LOL)

How are they going to turn Voldemort into a Trump analogy. Will it be Harry or Ron who gets turned into a cuck, and how will they shoehorn in lectures on white privilege, black lives matter, and capitalism.

I'm expecting multiple race swaps with not just one of the main characters.

They will 100% not be able to make any of the baddie characters diverse. Diverse people are only ever the white hats.

Guys, do you know any Harry Potter podcast that does not speak ill of Rowling because of her "transphobia"? Anything? Does such thing exist? I only care about the books, btw, so not something that is just about the movies or whatever. I feel like listening to a podcast about Harry Potter but not listening to the hosts talking about "the author" or "this woman" like she is a leper.

hit some of Harry Potter at Universal, the train to Hogwarts was cute but needed a lot more AC (see also every other fucking ride)
Harry Potter and the Screens And A Few Dementors was okay

gonna catch Hagrid Coaster and the Gringotts one soon, probably at least the dragon coaster, probably not the hippogriff one
 
Hagrid Coaster was fun, a bit outside my comfort zone for coasters but cool, makes me curious to go a bit further on coasters but the wife and I still have stuff to do together
Harry Potter Ron Ron's Brother (no not the dragon one. No not the twin ones. No not the dick one.) Bill And The Screens Of Gringotts was okay, the Monsters Unleashed ride really has the sauce putting robots interacting with the screens instead of just SCREENS EVERYWHERE

still need to catch the Ministry of Magic ride, doing that tomorrow

the other miscellaneous crap's nice, still haven't tried the butterbeer,
 
witness the meltdown over the tv series has been amazing.
Meanwhile, in real life, everyone I know (myself included) are excited for this show.

Apparently, actors from Harry Potter talked about this game, but it's got so little views, and the website's copyright statement is from between 2023 and 2024... The latest news from the website was back in September, 2025...
