What would happen if there was a "magic outage" at Hogwarts?

Like what if all magical power ceased to work for some time?

Anyone on the staircases mid shift will likely die due to them falling down because a lack of support, anyone in the dining hall will burn to death due to the candles floating in the air dropping down, anyone playing Quidditch better hope he is above something soft. Also anything containing the dangerous magical beasts or protecting against botany/alchemy mishaps will fail.

Really the question how doesn't every year end with multiple fatalities.

Also, Hogwarts would be exposed to any ground-imaging satellite. Or even to any passing planes.
