This this this. I was friends with someone who had a Haitian grandpa and I wondered how a place that produced an educated normal dude like that could be such a shithole. Nope, it’s because he left. Decades ago when the writing on the wall was pretty fucking clear to anyone literate. And like some other commenter noted that successful immigrants tend to do, he married a white woman and his grandchildren are, in culture and pretty much appearance, white.

There really is no fixing it either, beyond some major eugenics. We could be charitable and say what is needed is for more intelligent people to colonize the country and interbreed with the locals, since IQ of a child is highly correlated to the IQ of the parents. But for one thing, who would WANT to move to Haiti in search of fame and fortune, and for another what Western country would do so?

My idle conspiracy brain theory is the reason Haitians are suddenly being imported all over western countries is the powers that be have decided to depopulate the country and spread the retardation around. A sort of "Woke" ethnic cleansing where the people aren't put into camps and gassed, but instead thrown into the seething mass of the global population to (hopefully) dissipate and be absorbed.

Haiti is already substantially controlled by a clique of Jewish oligarchs iirc. They live in guarded compounds and sink money into the gangs to do their bidding.

Edit: Apparently it's a split between Jews and Arabs. A few gentile white-sounding names occur but it's hard to be sure.

Western media doesn't talk about Haiti anymore. They did in 2010 and a bit after that. But now? There has been a full news black out on the goings on in Haiti for the last five years. Even pretend "left" outlets don't want to talk about that country. Things are so bad, they are FUBAR and refugees coming to western countries from Haiti are a no go. Politicians know Haitian refugees would be grossly unpopular.

So Haiti becomes the little island everyone in the west prays sinks into the ocean. It's a full failed state and a disaster. It's an Island so there this that attitude of once again, let's just pretend it doesn't exist in our reality.

Didn't stop the boatloads of Somalis from coming on over. They're basically the Haiti of Africa and haven't exactly been popular since the whole piracy thing and what went down in Mogadishu. Plus at least three machete attacks here that I know of. Having third world diseases. Being welfare leeches. Being members of the religion of peace. Expecting every local community to cater to their language needs.
