Yeah, Ed's a fun follow. He's very much like Gunther if you replace 'bureaucracy' with 'Catholicism'. So instead of a million pictures of trains in the Balkans it's religious sites around Rome. Also 40k and watching anime with his daughter.

Weighing in on various political topics around the world with bizarre statements is kinda his thing. I don't think 'paying attention' is a term we can apply to guy who typed 'Jeb Bush must endorse Haley' in sincerity, however.

Reminder that Gunther is not even a Eurocrat. He has never worked with Brussels, nor in Austria's European/Foreign Ministry. I don't think he's ever worked in government. He's just a fanboy, not even part of the team.
