In Midnight Club 3 Rockstar San Diego took a direct swipe at Ford for refusing to license any cars to them by making one of the cars you raced again in Detroit have the license plate 4RD SUX.

Midnight Club LA was supposed to repeat this with a NFS SUX plate down to the police scanner reading it out.

On a unrelated note I actually talk on a regular basis with the guy who created the pricedown font that is now the basis of the GTA font, he made it and released it for free a couple of years prior to GTA 3 and was actually working at Rockstar Toronto on the GUI for the PC port, he told me the marketing department independently found and decided to use the font and they had no idea he worked for them.

Once it became known he directly helped work on the Vice City logo before leaving the company and moving to Japan due to one of the Rockstar execs coming to Toronto and making a big scene at the office.

He's a really cool guy, and he still regularly makes professional grade fonts he releases for free and actually got flak from other professional font makers over it.

What is the "gm van?" How was he able to survive an Orbital Cannon? How are people able to spam an Orbital Cannon despite the supposed cooldown? Is this still a common occurrence? Why do people do this?

God Mode Van, it's a glitch that makes the night club van indestructible.

There's so many glitches/exploits that have let you spam the orbital cannon at this point I'm pretty sure. Rockstar has never given a shit about fixing it. IIRC the most recent exploit is that you use some program to edit your account on PS4 and transfer the account to PS5/Series X.

From what I have heard, for some reason Xbox One version is the only one that doesn't have Orbital Cannon spam issues but I don't know why.

Why do people do it? Cause Rockstar lets them and too many retards keep spending money on the game despite all the exploiters and cheaters so Rockstar doesn't care to fix it/remove it.

New event for online collect jack-lanterns and jet some clothing items (jacket and mask, i believe). Problem is that you need to collect all 200 in one day meaning If you don't collect all of them in 24 hour your progress in the collect-a-thon will reset

Just want to come in and say not only is this event stupid as fuck, but they apparently fixed the glitch with Peyote hallucinations that removes all the weapons from your weapon wheel.

So this really fucking sucks for me, as I've been waiting 6 months for them to show up (and spent 45 minutes getting a jack o lantern to do it) so I could *finally* get rid of the fucking impossible to drop/hide navy revolver, hazardous material can and now service rifle weapons just to find out it doesn't work anymore. And Rockstar absolutely refuses to do anything about it when I send in a ticket.

Guess I'm going to have to find a fucking modder/hacker to fix it for me now, since nobody will play the Arena War mode that supposedly does it and I'm guessing Rockstar fixed that just in time to fuck me over too.

I miss how well-rounded the characters were in GTA IV. Evan Moss could be straight, female, Black and he'd still be an annoying prick. Being a good character doesn't always mean a character is good.

I feel this would make for a great roleplaying open-world game. I saw that you could do odd jobs for money along with criminal activities. The modding possibilities are practically endless.

Game looks interesting, reminds me a bit more of GTA 4 with it's emphasis on interacting with the world vs scripted set pieces. Hope they either add support for multi-player or someone adds it in later, because there is a lot of potential there. Hopefully they add some English support to it, even if it's just sub tittles and menu translations.

That explains just how batshit crazy the game was on Halloween.

I got on when someone told me the Peyote Plants were back to try and get rid of my stuck weapons. It was 75% modders just fucking around. Not even being dicks just fucking around with all the effects and shit.

Not that anyone will care, but even a modder couldn't remove the Service Rifle from my weapon wheel. Rockstar instead of fixing the fucking glitch or oversight that goes with "rewarded" weapons somehow made it worse. At least the kind modder was able to remove the ugly Navy Revolver from my weapon wheel though, I can live with the Service Rifle being stuck since I like it and I don't have to scroll through it in vehicles.
