And if you want a console version, don't buy it. It will be shit at release guaran-fucking-teed. Get a PS2 emulator like the one I link up above and play the games for free. The cretins who make these shitty remasters don't need nor deserve your money.
Jeez Kristin, I like nu-metal too but I wouldn't use my teenage doodles as part of my professional portfolio. Also on the /v/'s doomergf thing:

You're on the shit version though, dude.
She's in her early 30's and she seems right up your alley, nigga: both stuck in a different decade. How old is she? She dresses like a teenager but looks like she's pushing 40 or in her 40s.
They're not paying for the games, they're paying for the convenience of easy installs and not having to learn how to set up and maintain an emulator.I had a conversation with my coworkers about this over the weekend, and the sentiment I have about this comes from them, and people like them. Essentially, they each bought the remaster for $60 after I told them how they could emulate the original games for free, and lose literally nothing since the remastered versions look like ass anyway. Their reasoning was that purchasing the remaster was simpler than getting PCSX2 to work properly. They also told me about the array of technical issues that the remasters have and are hoping for bug fixes soon.
I just don't understand how people think like this and waste their money for products that are unequivocal garbage. People are so privileged, comfortable, and lazy that they'd rather pay $60 for a non-functional version of a product that was released going on two decades ago, when they could easily get the functional version for free. It's an utterly bizarre mindset and I don't know what's causing it to be so prevalent. This shit is why gaming is so bad, every game launch from Triple A is plagued with technical issues and microtransaction bullshit. The same people who complain about it go right around and buy products from companies they bitch about ad nauseum. I haven't bought a Triple A game at launch since Fallout 4, and if From Software fucks up Elden Ring and joins the shit Triple A club I doubt I'll ever do so again.
Only a matter of time before those games increase in price. My PS2 copy of San Andreas was a dollar on clearance at a used game shop. My PS3 copy was a $5 clearance find. They were as readily available as old sports games. If you've wanted to play these games, they've never not been readily available. So, why now? Why drop full price on a bundle of old games just to pray they get fixed down the line - especially after there's no financial incentive for Grove Street Games to do so?
Not related to the GTA release but I saw this comment on a YouTube video recently along similar lines of what you pointed out and it's honestly sad. Can't put in bare minimum of thought to improve your gaming experience, blindly accept micro transactions and other scummy practices. Modern consumers are neighbour cattle. They're not paying for the games, they're paying for the convenience of easy installs and not having to learn how to set up and maintain an emulator.
It's a shame that most people really are that lazy that learning some DIY about how to run your old games is a step too far, but, that's just how things are in a world where even the right to repair your own stuff needs to go through court. It's the same deal with so many people paying for Spotify, when it's trivial to just download and archive MP3s straight off of YouTube. Especially on Android. A few less clicks really is worth a small stack of cash to many, many people out there.
Besides, there's an element of groupthink there, too. It's Grand Theft Auto, the best selling game series of all time. You've been able to pick up copies of those games for nothing, for over a decade. My PS2 copy of San Andreas was a dollar on clearance at a used game shop. My PS3 copy was a $5 clearance find. They were as readily available as old sports games. If you've wanted to play these games, they've never not been readily available. So, why now? Yeah, that's not rational thinking. That's classic FOMO.
I'm glad i'm not having part of that mindset being 23 years old. I always trying to buy games which doesn't have any DLC or waiting for years to buy a compiled version and get the DLC's in one package.

Because you fucking mutts are thinking that hiring people on merit is muh white supremacyfear this is only going to be the way it for everything, all technology is going to start going backwards and getting worse, because we no longer hire people on merit.
Fucking this, PCSX2 likes to stutter even on a good PC, the PC version with mods is a way better experience.I don't get this whole PS2 emulator talk. Just grab the original PC copies of the trilogy and then mod it to be like the PS2 version.
It's a very easy thing to do, plus you can pick every mod you'd like to try.
Also, these games will run fine even on potato computers so there is no need to get a beefy one.
If you don't like using the stock PC controls then you can use GInput, which is a mod that enables all the features available of Xbox360/Xbone/PS3/PS4 controllers.
There are so many mods and options out there for these games that I don't really get why people should gimp their experience by playing on emulators or on this half-assed remaster. Just my 2 cents here.
here's a magnet linkA certain "fit girl" just dropped a repack for the original trilogy on PC (with mods)....just saying.
