So, is she an aspiring trophy wife? I'm honestly surprised she works, I'd think someone with a princess mentality like Gloria would think work is beneath her.

She's pretty vapid, but doesn't seem to be lazy at all. She probably likes having stuff to do.

Maybe she does have some redeeming qualities. Who knew?

I'm used to completely reprehensible lolcows like Iconclast and Nick Bate. Gloria might just need some time to grow up. Maybe she'll move on from lolcowdom.

The interesting thing is that while she obviously likes to appear like she's very busy with a grand number of projects, she doesn't work on them in a way that would cause her to become better at what she's doing. What I mean is: Her first book sucked, her last one sucked, and all the books in between sucked. Same for her painting, rapping and probably movie-directing "endeavours". What I suspect is that she more play-pretends being a busy career lady than actually investing work and learning effort into anything. Her "movie directing" probably consists or her prancing about with a script and a clapperboard in her hands, while the actual work is done by some people who have at least rudimentary knowledge of filmmaking (that is, having studied for almost one semester at film school before dropping out).

I agree that she's playing at being a busy career woman. It sounds like she's in a bubble where she doesn't have to ever hear criticism or a realistic appraisal of her abilities. The books sucked, but if she'd been exposed to honest critique, she might have gotten better. Her parents aren't doing her any favors by feeding her "I'm infailable" fantasy. Sooner or later she's gonna have to get out in the real world, and find out she's not all that great. It will be an unpleasant realization.
