The Maradonia movie seems like it's hit a number of financial potholes already, what with that IndieGogo campaign not too long ago, and the fact that talk of a movie goes back, like, two or three years in the book trailer. Also, the aforementioned shady business practices.

As far as we're concerned, the money will only run out if Daddy folds his wallet and gives his precious filmmaking ball-playing cowboy superhero soldier pirate a stern "no."

Again, you see why I despise her so much?! she is able to bring the SJW out in me of all people while reading her drek.

And yet despite that she is so very much a typical SJW who is just batting for the other side. Ignorant, clueless, narcissistic, smug and supremely confidant in her own moral and intellectual superiority, terrified of facing fucking reality or accepting criticism (and hateful at any who try to criticize her), utterly contemptuous and dismissive of all those who dont conform to whatever dogma she happens to be huffing at any given time, and most of all a supremely incompetent and inept failure at everything she tries her hand at.
 
Also interesting to note that the graffiti mentions Sappho...a Greek poet from the island of Lesbos...who wrote about love for both sexes. So America does mean Jesus and lesbians apparently.

Wiseau was an paper airplane seller, and eventually became a fashion salesman, and purportedly worked with a mafia-run restaurant. What complicates matters is Wiseau got in a car accident, and his brain doesn't work good no mores. So, 99% of his story might be bullshit.

As for Tesch... don't rule out the mob. :P

As for the assertion that Tesch's Daddy wrote most of the books, well, that's not true. He did do the second draft rewrites that are now available on Amazon Kindle (now with 90% more JESUS allegory.)

The movie "started production" back in 2009. As mentioned, the original cinematographer dropped out because Gerry Tesch was a dick. They've been filming sporadically over the past two years, whenever Papa can scrape enough dough together. In between shooting, Gloria Tesch is traipsing around Florida, pretending to be a real model, and writing rap songs under the name "Goldilocks."

I would buy this movie based on the last two images....this has a chance to top Manos: The Hands Of Fate and Santa With Muscles on sheer stupidity.

Ah yes, watching two men with gaudy ninja clothing fighting each other would make this more non-nonsensical. In fact, didn't one of the last images of that movie had a guy with a katana? It could mean Maradonia will have ninja's.

If it's not in Narnia, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or The Bible, it's not in Maradonia.
 
I doubt the movie will ever be finished, or if it is, it will be extremely rushed once Gerry doesn't want to pour money into it anymore.
 
She should try to get Troma to distribute it, they will distribute stuff they haven't made themselves, even if its not up to the same level of quality as their own stuff. Hell they distributed Outlaw Prophet (a Christian Scifi movie for kids, that is hilarious) and Redneck Zombies (which is a horrible shot on Shitteo zombie movie made by some teenagers in the late 80s)
