It's kids like her that I feel sorry for. They get dragged into it by their "trusting" parents as kids and then they end up with such an inflated ego they won't be able to support themselves.

If my parents were rich and absolutely insane, I might have been her. I had such a huge and retarded fantasy series as an angsty pre-teen.
Oh didn't we all have huge fantasy/sci-fi epics that were really terrible at one point?

I drew Spaceman Spiff plagarism featuring an interplanetary war. :(

He got so angry that he forbid me to set my foot into any movie theater alone and made his final decision that our family will not install the ‘internet’ in our house, if you understand what I mean.

That what kids are calling it these days?

I had a comic series with my friend that wrote. It involved finding a mecha in the dumpster of a Wal-Mart...and the main character destroying said Wal-Mart.

I remember a show similar to that called MegasXLR. It was about some fat guy finding a giant robot from another galaxy in a junkyard. Then he, his friend, and a woman from the other galaxy who was looking for the robot, go on all sorts of awesome adventures. Although he didn't destroy a walmart, I think he accidentally destroyed a DMV, but my memory's sketchy.

It really is an epic show, I just suck at summaries.

I used to draw sci-fi related comics which are worse than Sonichu.

Don't bother telling me to upload these comics.

I would read the shit out of that.
Same here, sounds a thousand times better than Maradonia.

Do you still have it? It sounds fucking awesome.

Holy shit guys....her Mom is almost as delusional as she is...charging $95 for a portrait that looks like I could have gotten from the county fair for $20.

A Chris-Chan portait?

A Our Pet Lolcow portait?
95 bucks!?! That's better drawn than most people who sit around and draw portraits of people but ain't nobody gonna pay 95 bucks for that unless you color it well and frame it for them.

At least it's professional, on some level. Tesch's blog/antishurtugal say that her mom was an art teacher in her native Russia.

"I believe everything happens for a reason"

...is there a reason Gloria's parents decided to fuel a narcissistic personality disorder the size of the Moon? This is downright child abuse.

I watched the trailer. It is horrible. It looks like a very bad photoshop and reminds me of cheap video games from the '90s. :briefs:

I used to do really bad fanfiction. I mean, Sonichu looks like Doctor Zhivago compared to some of the stuff I wrote. But I realized that no one was interested in my self-inserts and bad writing, while this girl has her parents constantly propping her ego up. It's sad really. Instead of coming down to Earth gently like I did, she's going to crash in flames into a mountainside.

Her illustrations for the books (she did the cover art as well, I guess) are even worse.

I thought about showing the cover art to my previous two art teachers, but the opportunity to bring them up never came around. Am I a great artist? No. Can I come up with something visually more appealing than what the artist came up with? Maybe? The cover art of the first book makes me think that the reference for the human part of that fugly face was a picture of Pamela Anderson (or someone similar).

I noticed that the person that had Gloria sign her book for was a little kid. If that age group is Gloria's target group that may explain her "success". Not only that but something seems off about the crowd in the video, I can't put my finger on why though.

Like how two of the actors from the book trailer show up in the line as well?
Or how no one really seems that hyped about Tesch's work?

Why the hell are they so off center and crooked?
