"I believe everything happens for a reason"

...is there a reason Gloria's parents decided to fuel a narcissistic personality disorder the size of the Moon? This is downright child abuse.

^ To be honest, things like the room and birdemic have proven that even the most inept movies can get memetic popularity boosts. Which normally I heartilly applaud, but with this talentless, self worshipping cuntmuffin I resent the possibility that this film might make her the new "Tommy Wiseau".

The problem that I have with that comment is that "The Room" had it's own certain following of people that say it was good. Same with Birdemic, or my personal favorite Megashark vs. Giant Octopus. The Maradoina Saga has nothing but detractors, with the only positive reviews coming from socks or sarcastic Amazon reviews. She is not a good writer...hell, the kid that made Eragon at least studied the creative process before he sat down and wrote!

I entirely agree. Thats why I resent the possibility that her film might be so memetically shite that it gives her already disgustingly bloated ego a boost and rewards her for her delusions

From what I can gather, they are extremely wealthy and follow a philosophy of parenting that amounts to assuming their spawn is the next messiah, throwing buckets of money onto her every whim, from writing, to art, to modeling, and ensuring their spoiled little shit never gives them any grief.

Naturally this has turned her into the most self important and delusional little bitchbag imaginable.

The thing is, The Room was a passion project years in the making and helmed by a man who is perversely endearing despite his numerous faults.

Maradonia is Daddy dumping money into the whims of his baby girl, who's never once left his bubble, much less his ivory tower.

It might just be me, or because Tesch is horrible at emoting, but there's a definite lack of passion in how she approaches the story, almost as if her parents are forcing her to keep up Maradonia. Not too hard to imagine, knowing how much they've sunken into it.

I thought that book advert was satirical at first. It can't be serious, it's terrible. If the movie is anything like those clips were then it looks like a 90s live action fantasy kid saga but instead of being a serious tv show it's a mockery of it. I can't conceptualize any of these things in my mind.

If this idiot can get published then I think it might be easy pickings for me.

Almost nothing pisses me off more than parents who pull their kid out of school because they think they're gifted children and encourage them to never attempt to improve their craft or take criticism because they're already perfect. When in reality being gifted is hard as shit because you're smarter than your peers (and even some adults in your given feild bu they don't respect you because you're younger than them) and they think you're weird and antisocial and you finish your work ridicously fast and then you get bored. So gifted children need to be supported but also encouraged to improve and practice what they love.

If my parents were rich and absolutely insane, I might have been her. I had such a huge and retarded fantasy series as an angsty pre-teen.

Oh didn't we all have huge fantasy/sci-fi epics that were really terrible at one point?

Has this been confirmed from any non-ED source?

I don't know about her being pulled out of school 100% but I do know it's always going to happen in rich parent attempts to buy kid fame because they think they have a little prodogy.
And her massive throbbing ego has to come from somewhere.

I was thinking about self-publishing a cookbook and selling it via my Youtube channel. Then I saw the pricetag and thought differently. Vanity can be expensive.

I think Lulu does not charge, obviously its print on demand but they will still sell your book.

I had a comic series with my friend that wrote. It involved finding a mecha in the dumpster of a Wal-Mart...and the main character destroying said Wal-Mart.

So did her sock puppet.
The new E-Book version of Maradonia and the Seven Bridges hit my brain and burned a big hole into my soul. I am pretty sure that several people might not agree with me, but I really believe the edited version with its brand new prologue of this book is World Literature. The stories of this teenager author and novelist Gloria Tesch are just overwhelming because of the simplicity and they show from their psychological proportions in the life of the siblings, Maya and Joey, and in their fight between good versus evil a far deeper substance – basically a story behind the story - and this is one of the reasons why I believe that the Maradonia Saga will certainly have a longer life line in the future than the Twilight or the Harry Potter series. But as a doctor with solid psychological background I see also other reasons: The Maradonia Saga is not just entertainment! Maradonia is a life style because it meets our longings to experience the truth of life, love and death. However, this Maradonia Life-Style is in my opinion able to help the reader better to understand life itself and his role in his own family, the nation and in the universe.
I read all six books of the Maradonia Saga and forgive me, but I believe this series can play sooner or later an important role for fans, middle readers and young adults. Again, this series is a must-read for parents, teachers, and librarians that will serve as a bridge to growth in knowledge, faith and in the understanding that there is also tremendous power in positive thinking.

OH MY GOD. ALL OF MY FUCKING SIDES.

I'm sorry, but this child is more egocentric than Chris is. Not only milking Daddy's wallet for a movie that will be outsold by scat porn, but self-inserting as the heroine. That's the quality of writing in the younger generation.

Her lack of 4th grade grammar and clumsy, slow-in-the-mind voice have me pulling at my hair screeching "WHY. NO. STOP. PLEASE". ;3;

Thank you so much for that quote, I honestly do not think I could have said it any better.
