There's still info about the movie and the book in the About Me section. She doesn't give up easily, I guess.

Not only are those mermaid hats ugly as fuck, she's giving her best 35 year old divorcee with a shit taste in make-up face in those photos.

Yeah, I doubt it...

I don't. Her Charity Foundation is prob her dad's church.

Look, a good movie sporking.

For those of you confused about the """"plot"""" of this film, fear not. I have read all the books (Sober) and will now explain the whole deal about Professor Epstein and 9/11. The fact that I had to write that sentence upsets me.

So, when Epstein wakes up in his gaudy house in the book he utters 'Not this headache again.' This point is never addressed in any of the books or in the film. From what I can gather, this scene would have been set in the year the books came out, 2007/8.

When he arrives at the school and enters, it turns out that an artist has been displaying watercolours, one of which happens to be the smoke cloud hovering over New York after the Twin Towers fell. In the film, we see it visualised as demons emerging from the smoke while a girl does the least convincing acting job ever trying to feign emotion.

The whole point of this is to say that all the evil in the world came from Apollyon, Dr Evil rip off and general bad guy. There is also a prophecy that states that 'When the silver birds attack the twin brothers, two children will arrive in the land of Maradonia and they will show you your limitations.' So yes, for those of you still confused, Tesch did in fact use 9/11 in her shitty destiny story as a plot point.

However, the scene itself makes no sense because presumably the story Epstein reads the kids is the story we see, IE: The movie about Maya and Joey, which makes no sense because both of these things would have to happen at the same time.

Are you confused yet? Well, don't bother, because none of this is addressed in all 3400 long, boring, exceptional, stupid pages.
Just means we need the sequel.

How is it 2 hours and 15 minutes if it hasn't even been shot yet?

Because it seems that the runtime is more important than the content.
Both the book and the movie are full of fillers.
I would not be surprised if Gerry sets the runtime or page count before a single line is written.

Yeah, I doubt it...

This is another one of those nebulous "charities" like the one from he friend and fellow con-man Richie "Dr. Grift" Reichel, that never gives any concrete information about where the donations go.

The DVD from the AFM came in simple DVD-R case with no art, and the resolution is the same as the Youtube by America's Top Stripper. It's identical, so if you want your own DVD, easy to rip it straight off Youtube.

On Tesch describing a running time for the sequel of 2 hours and 15 minutes, remember, with this first movie, which is 1:48, or 108 miniutes, he tried pretending it was more of an epic by listing the length at "148 minutes."
2:15 is just a number he pulled out of his ass to make it sound big budget and epic. I'm guessing even the Tesches have to succumb to reality at some point, so I don't expect to see them spend much time or energy in the future trying to market this crap.

This studio apparently has quite a bit of history with providing special effects for major Hollywood studios. It would appear as though Gerry Tesch is attempting to weasel his family's IP into the industry by chaining it to a studio that has strictly post-production experience. Of all the schemes he's pulled out of his ass, this one honestly has the best shot...

...But, with him being Gerry Tesch, we know he'll find a way to fuck it up, like he did with the early pre-production of Maradonia Take #1.

Well that sucks. Oh well....

I hate to say this..

this film might end being - its so bad its good catergory
No. It's hard to even enjoy ironically. It's just bad.

While the Evil Empire movie thread will now be phasing out cause it has been released on Youtube, most likely illegally, now we will get a new story going with Gerry as he is pushing on the Mermaids tale. http://www.wardourstudio.com/maradonia.html

This part of the story doesn't have Gloria yet, but lets see.

This is some cold shit, he basically has cut Glo from her own stuff. It reads like the premise of a reboot but kills Maya's character off.

I wonder why he thinks Maradonia is something worth holding onto?

Ok I'm looking deeper here, wardour studios isn't real. Something feels way way off. They're listed as being on the Universal lot, I'm not their often and like they could possibly be in the UCP building which is huge but there's not a ton of effects houses there that I don't know...

And something in their contacts feels odd. Notice how highly visible Maradonia is, no one sets up contact for one film like this.

Also their demo reel has videos in really out of proportion aspect ratios from one another, something an effects house would fix.

I think one of two things is happening here. There's a total scam, or they hired or are founded by a compositor who worked on all these films and they're listing them quite scammily as company credits.

It was my understanding that a man named Stephan Nai signed into a Contract with Gerry Tesch to distribute and raise funds in China. That was why you originally saw IMDB information regarding a chinese actresses. Since that time, all the IMDB credits have been yanked regarding Maradonia. Mr Nai contracted with an Eric Carter to create a new trailer and spin a new series and went back to China to raise the funds. That trailer was using footage from the last "Pirates" movie that had a mermaid scenes. Over a period of months, Nai returned from China with promises but no cash. Gerry got upset with him and fired him. Now, for all I know is that Nai and Carter have decided to pursue interest with their own Mermaid story and maybe, wanting to get back at Gerry for firing them. That might be the case. For all I know, Nai could have raised funds, but decided to create his own story. Since there is already a cult of haters out there, that can give them a good start.

Just three weeks ago, Gerry was supposed to have universal meet him in Tampa with a $10million dollar check, but Hurricane Matthew made that them cancel that trip. Oh, and there were going to bring the lead actor, I guess a John Travot...ha.

Gerry owes people money over the first maradonia project. He has a habit of writing insufficient fund checks. Some of those people/companies want to be paid. He listed a lot of names that I know personally that had nothing to do with this project, yet Gerry listed them on the credits for the sole purpose of making the production seem bigger then it was.

Has he done anything illegal enough to get arrested or sued were he reported to the relevant authorities/parties?

Sure, listing someone not involved would give the company involved enough leeway to sue him, but those companies tend to think rationally, and let's list the pros and cons:

Pro

-none

Con

-Civil suits cost a lot of money and even if they win, they would likely never see a cent from broke Gerry and be stuck with thousands in legal costs.

-Streisand effect

Well I don't know who busted open the Hollywood insider crate of kiwi fruit, but I hope you guys have it in the back of your head that this whole saga will make for a GREAT documentary/mockumentary somewhere down the line.

The whole China thing could probably be related to them trying to cash in on the popularity of the Chinese movie Mermaid, Chinese 'The Asylum' style? They probably thought Tesch would start funding it eventually.

There are going to be a ton of rip offs of that movie, haha.

Oh man, For those that want to enjoy Maradonia, you will have to find another way, a take down notice occurred from Liberty Media. Means the Tesches or someone looking out for them is still active.

As it's been said, the link is down. I have a suspicion Maradonia: The Shadow Empire will become the Tesches' E.T. video game, though they appear to be pursuing Maradonia: A Mermaid's Tale. If -IF- they somehow managed to get an angel investor (with brain damage) to back them for a $30 mil budget, do you reckon the story would be salvageable enough to get it to the abysmal quality of the Eragon movie, where it looked okay, but the story had no flow?

Her Twitter says California, but her pictures look like Florida.
Bitch, do you have bi-coastal disorder or something?
On occasion, Gloria used to fly out to LA to do half-assed photo shoots and pretend to be networking with entertainment industry figures, but they don't have enough money to make regular trips there any more. I think the farthest west she's been recently was Las Vegas with Alex Scrn.
