Confirmed, DJ Pezz Dispenser is the new boy toy and he was generous enough to not be self aware enough to not realize that this was a clip better left off the internet:

For that, we should all thank him.
I can't wait for this music video. I feel like it's going to be a lot of Gloria awkwardly buffing her poor-man's Porsche with her ass.

Maradonia would have been better if daddy had hired a professional cartoonist or two and did this as a comic. Giving the benefit of the doubt, there is a niche for collectors of low-grade movies.
Have you seen our lovely Wogglebug, given that train of thought?

I'm loving this sneak peek of the new video, particularly the Teutonic theme of the costume. It's really baking my strudel.

For once in your life, can you stop wishing that people will sink more time and resources into ventures that will invariably fail colossally?

I suddenly want some really big pretzels, for some reason.

This must be the most awkward thing I've seen in quite a while...

I think the idea behind the costume is uniformity. It's her Goldilocks persona (blithely glossing over that fact that it's a Red Riding Hood costume).
It's actually a naughtied-up version of a Bavarian dirndl.

Since there is Gangsta Rap, maybe there could be some kind of Evangelist Conman Rap? Some new spin on the genre?

Not even close...

It makes the idea of them dating seem like a transaction (as in, he's getting something back for investing in her musical career) and makes her look desperate and him look incredibly skeevy and unprofessional.
I agree with almost everything you've said but I think you've got this part backwards. DJ Pezz Dispenser looks pretty desperate if he's willing to give studio time and his production services (regardless of how questionable their quality may be) to some marginally attractive blonde just because she'll agree to spend some time with him, while Glo-Glo looks quite skeevy by dating some guy who has a chance of furthering her musical "career". And as for Glo-Glo's professionalism? Nah. I'm not going there...

If I remember correct you are the resident german? If I am correct, what are your thoughts on this costume. If I remember right Gloria is either American born or came over very young...

Here is a nearly same 40 buck costume which I am sure you can find cheaper. Includes "riding hood" in the title.

Do you think she is trying to... I dunno capitalize on a German fetish or is she just clueless?

If it was a real dirndl it might be cute, aside from her robotic movement. It's a Halloween costume. Store bought Halloween costumes generally do not hold up to a sober eye.

Probably just clueless.

IIRC, most of our fairy tales came from the Brothers Grimm, who I believe were from Germany. In that case, it would make sense for the characters in their stories to wear traditional German outfits. If you google "sexy Goldilocks costume", this is the first result returned, which (other than the color) is actually pretty similar to Glo-Glo's Red Riding Hood costume:

As for how Glo-Glo could confuse Goldilocks and Red Riding Hood? Home-schooled class valedictorian and all that...

Hey, I've got nothing against the Mitsubishi Eclipse. They're good-looking, affordable and pretty reliable by most accounts. I'm never going to begrudge anyone a good, cheap car.

That was not my point.
The Gloria Tesch persona has so far been styled to be some kind of jet-setting it-girl with her "chillin' in Cali" posts.
Generally for something as important (and highly visible)as a music video, Gunther would pay for things a luxury hire-car (a Porsche or Lambo) to be the in the background of her videos.
Hell, back in his prime he would have been able to grift some rental place or dealership to give it to them for the day for free.
The same goes for the fairly bottom of the barrell producer, Gunther would have payed anything (or at least promised to pay) to get some hip and well known guy to produce her videos.
Having your "sugardaddy/boytoy" produce your video while sitting on top of your old car isn't something that would have happened unless they are flat broke.

Don't be knocking the Dirndl.

Or maybe it's her BF's car.

It's not really a great money laundering scheme to flush money down a toilet with no possibility of getting it back in a highly public way. This isn't The Producers.

For something like $800,000 you'd just want to start a couple small businesses that mainly get cash receipts and spread it out over a few years.

Agreed. The point of a money laundering scheme is to integrate dirty money with a legit business. With 800,000 he could easily start up a German restaurant.

The fun thing about Dirndls is, they are often considered a national girl's costume of Germany, when in fact they are a local Bavarian dress closely associated with the Oktoberfest in Munich. AFAIK Oktoberfests have spread throughout the world, you can find similar fairs in Texas and California, complete with girls dressing up in Dirndl-inspired costumes. These party dirndls are usually only loosely based on traditional Bavarian Dirndls, most of all they are far more revealing. This, plus the fact that they are associated with beer and partying gives them a "naughty flair" which Gloria is trying to use as a stylistic choice in her video, with limited success (like I said, her body movements and facial expression reveal how uncomfortable she feels).

BTW "Dirndl" originally means "girl" in Bavarian dialect.

Probably just clueless.

Yes, the majority of well-known fairy tales are from the Grimm collection. The Grimms didn't invent these stories, they rather collected folk tales from all over Germany which had up to that point been never been written down but communicated orally from generation to generation.

http://www.grimmstories.com/en/grimm_fairy-tales/index

There are a number of exception, though, that is, not all popular fairy tales are folk tales written down by the Grimms. E.g. "The Little Mermaid" and "The Ugly Duckling" are artistic fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen (that is, he invented these himself).

Personally, I have always preferred artistic fairy tales over the folk tales, because I find the latter to be crude and uninspired -- barbarian stories, if you will. The Russian folk fairy tales are an exception, though, these have a mysterious, mystical flair about them -- probably due to influence from the pagan tribes of Siberia.

Even knowing Gloria is most likely reusing the fairytale dress as part of her 'persona', I don't think she can have put a lot of thought into how this might look to an audience, especially one who had no idea she considered it part of her Goldilocks brand. Yeah, she'd look generic as Hell grinding on the bonnet of a Mitsubishi in a bikini or short shorts and a halter top, but at least she'd be tapping into an existing visual trope a viewer would recognize. She'd at least look slightly more like she belonged in that image than she does awkwardly bumping and grinding on top of a car, in a cheap Halloween costume, in the middle of a beach, in broad daylight. Absolutely nothing in this video looks right with any of the other elements in any way at all, and it's distracting.

Then again, this is a woman who wandered round a fantasy universe with bright pink streaks in her hair that keep disappearing and reappearing depending on when a scene was shot. I suppose Gloria's idea of visual aesthetics begins and ends with how hot she looks at any given moment, and everything else can go hang.

I think you might be right. According to his facebook he's eleven years her senior.
I gotta wonder what daddy Tesch feels about that....
If we're right about him, he probably doesn't really care. From what I can tell, he only cares about Gloria as far as she can make him money. When the movie fails to be picked up by even a small distributor, he'll probably blame her for its failure.

I'm scouring the festival's website and can't seem to find a single actual film that was shown so I have no idea what the fuck this actually is.

Sunscreen film festival? Sounds like they're trying to rip off Sundance. Either that, or it's a film festival that exclusively showcases films about the dangers of being unprotected in the sun. I dunno.
