Can someone please explain the motive(s) of these Instagram ass-patters to me?

Do they really believe that if they compliment Glo-Glo enough there's a chance she'll want to hook up with them, or do they just find it more exciting to think that they're communicating with the source of their fap material?

Eh, it takes just a few seconds to write an ass-patting comment. There's no real cost to it. Yeah they're thirsty, but I'm sure they like the small bit of interaction, and that overcomes the nonexistent drawbacks of saying "your pretty ;)" or whatever.

Girls were going this at my highschool. It was fairly common for girls to have "girlfriends" in addition to having boyfriends. And whenever they wanted attention one would sit on the other's lap and make out to make their boyfriends "jealous".
