I sent him a couple e-mails posing as a teenage girl before the movie was officially released and he responded pleasantly to them. Then later I sent him a couple after it had been out for a while and even offered to pay him $20.00 for a burned copy of the movie but he never responded even after two requests.
My guess is that they didn't get very good press on it and they've decided to drop the whole Maradonia movie thing as being the cash cow they would have hoped for.

I also emailed gerry about the movie but I don't want to post it here since I think they look at this thread sometimes. If anyone is interested you can pm me, what he said was kind of interesting though probably not very helpful.
If you read some of the comments on Glo-Glo Insta, Alex responds by using Turkish phrases to some users. Granted, he writes entirely in English letters so...???
