Russia, China, and India are going to get their economic bloc in order and start peeling resentful vassal states away from the US and we'll have nothing to blame but our own idiotic hubris.View attachment 3505131

The turbine in question is still in legal limbo. The Canadian courts got asked to step in and stop the transfer:As a final and personal note, I thought it was a weird move by Russia to do this, specially since Germany had bullied Canada into giving the damn turbine back to the russians in spite of zelensky's whishes and the Russians earn a lot of money from their gas revenues,
Very cool. I hope the EU sanctions Canada for this act of wilful sabotage lmao. Thanks Canadians, never knew you were an ally of Putin. The turbine in question is still in legal limbo. The Canadian courts got asked to step in and stop the transfer:
So the Russians have declared this action to put more pressure on Canada to cut the red tape. While, I have heard that the turbine is being shipped, it is unclear if it will actually be released into Russian custody with this legal battle going on.
Russia doesn't care so much about money, but power. Money is all well and good, but you if you can't buy what you want with it (in this case, Energy) - it doesn't matter at all.As a final and personal note, I thought it was a weird move by Russia to do this, specially since Germany had bullied Canada into giving the damn turbine back to the russians in spite of zelensky's whishes and the Russians earn a lot of money from their gas revenues, I don't understand the ruski move here in the long term either, but who knows, the pipeline's scheduled maintenance is supposed to be finished on the 22nd. By the way, some articles i've been reading claim that the turbine held hostage by canada, which is now on it's way back to russia, has no chance of being returned before July 21 (and this is assuming to other bs happens in between), this messes up planning and logistics more than they already were. As i said, Russia gets tons of money just from it's gas revenue alone, 400 million euros a DAY supplying Europe with gas. That's 146 billion euros a year, they would be cutting off a big ammount of this revenue, maybe it's a short squeeze to test how euros would react? i don't know, we'll have to see.
I sure hope not, or I'll be sitting in an internment camp as a conscientious objector, or buried in a mass grave. Such is life.So does this mean we're actually doing WW3? This seems like the point of no return, but I might just be gay and retarded.
Exactly, and they already have been. There have been several announcements over the past few months of nations potentially(meaning almost certainly) being admitted to BRICS in the future. Most notably the Saudies are queued up to join the new monetary regime.Russia, China, and India are going to get their economic bloc in order and start peeling resentful vassal states away from the US and we'll have nothing to blame but our own idiotic hubris.
And it's going to suck just as much how BRICS sucks. At least for the citizenry. Why would you invest into a system that doesn't care about its population? Say what you will about globohomo but Americans have sanitation.Russia, China, and India are going to get their economic bloc in order and start peeling resentful vassal states away from the US and we'll have nothing to blame but our own idiotic hubris.
Obviously it's very unlikely, but you never know these days.Lol with WW3 doomposting. Germany will cuck and suck the Russians. You think any country in Europe will risk thousands, even dozens, of soldier casualties (that they don't have) to control the gas reserves? You think Biden USA will start a war when they are already expecting massive political defeat and economic depression? It's a war where you need boots on the ground, you can't just bombs a couple of locations and declare victory.
Btw, while typing my original comment I thought of Monty Python's "funniest joke" skit only instead of British soldiers saying the joke in German, it is Russian soldiers saying the "You will never be a real woman" meme to American soldiers to the same deadly effect.Obviously it's very unlikely, but you never know these days.
You've already proven your ignorance of current affairs so I presume you have no idea that the BRICS system has been signaling(very strongly at this point I might add) that moving forward they would like to shift currencies to a commodity backing. And it's going to suck just as much how BRICS sucks. At least for the citizenry. Why would you invest into a system that doesn't care about its population? Say what you will about globohomo but Americans have sanitation.
Never underestimate the allure of short-term gain. Fiat is a powerful way to siphon economic power from the schmucks foolish enough to buy into it. It still took what, fifty years of printing to finally collapse the system. (Assuming you started at Bretton-Woods failure and not before). You've already proven your ignorance of current affairs so I presume you have no idea that the BRICS system has been signaling(very strongly at this point I might add) that moving forward they would like to shift currencies to a commodity backing.
Now I don't know that this will come to pass, but trying to trap other nations into a new fiat debt scheme seems rather foolish when you've just witnessed your enemies die by it. Not saying it's impossible, however I find it rather unlikely especially in the first years of the system.
The saddest part is the US could've gotten India and Russia nominally on our side to contain China. Even with China's shit demographics, hundreds of millions of people is still a huge bonus to their power (and it isn't like China gives a fuck about old peasants dying). China is the #1 threat to the current world system and only country that can be a superpower before the 22nd century, and their world system will be at least as bad as the 21st century American world system.Russia, China, and India are going to get their economic bloc in order and start peeling resentful vassal states away from the US and we'll have nothing to blame but our own idiotic hubris.
Justin Trudeau will go down in history as one of the absolute most incompetent leaders in history. Ever read about the literally insane Chinese Emperors during the periods of division in China? Trudeau will be considered like that in the future. His retarded spat with Saudi Arabia pre-2020, "peoplekind" and his endless social justice-inspired gaffs, how he handled the trucker protest, this latest incident. Don't ever call him Castro's bastard son, because that's an insult to the man who held out for 50+ years against CIA plots and kept his country semi-functional despite wasting its resources on insanity like making his own Vietnam War equivalents to spread communism in Africa.Very cool. I hope the EU sanctions Canada for this act of wilful sabotage lmao. Thanks Canadians, never knew you were an ally of Putin.
True, and I made the prior statement with the knowledge that often times a failed fiat system is simply exchanged for a new iteration. Breton woods is an aberration in monetary history, the closest comparison I can think of is the roman/byzantine currency debasement; the difference being that there were still currencies that weren't grossly debased, as soon as you left the empire you could do business in truly valued currency. Today there is no currency in the world that even approaches sound money, which is why the hangover is going to be horrendous.Never underestimate the allure of short-term gain. yknow if shit really starts to hit the fan, it could be good practise to start stocking up on wood and stuff. make a cooking setup outside, a water barrel, maybe even a biogas digester if you have the stuff to do it.My country is getting told by the media talking heads that inflation has peaked, which I'm sure means that it's going to get worse on average considering their recent track record. The world will probably only have a real idea of how bad this is when we have the figures for the end of this year.
If this somehow does devolve into a global conflict, I guess it just comes down to whatever the fuck is going on in China. No one really knows what they're feeling right now. We know the property system they've built their expansion on is on the edge of going down in flames. We have no idea how strong their military actually is. I like to imagine Xi in a techbro outfit weighing up the pros and cons of using the military on a whiteboard somewhere. Seems like Russia is cutting off the gas supply, I wonder what that's actually going to look like in Germany and the rest of Europe. Rationing of gas? Winter is coming, what then?
If there's one thing clown world has taught me, its to never speak in absolutes, lest I be forced to wear the red nose and shoes.Lol with WW3 doomposting. Germany will cuck and suck the Russians. Euros being cucks is like a global constant, not too dissimilar to the speed of light. If there's one thing clown world has taught me, its to never speak in absolutes, lest I be forced to wear the red nose and shoes.
People used to say the sound barrier would never be broken and that the first nuclear bomb to be detonated would spark a chain reaction that would burn off the Earth's entire atmosphere, killing all life. I was going to say that people used to think the Earth was flat, but clown world already took care of that group.Euros being cucks is like a global constant, not too dissimilar to the speed of light.
