I see it as an example of people who have success and power in their life. Where they get obsessed with a cause, and the fact they have no power of it, fuels their rage. It's no different than the middle aged successful people obsessed with the plight of the Palestinians. For whatever reason, people select their cause and get angry they can do NOTHING. He's in the media, so feels he can maybe do something.

Glinners great. He hates the farms, but he makes a lot of sense if you're normal (straight, white, male, and didn't lop of your testicles or chemically castrate yourself with estrogen).

Glinner realized he helped create a monster and he's become obsessed with destroying it. Maybe it'll end spectacular, with a suicide vest detonating in stonewall and a 100 page manifesto. Probably he'll have a heart attacking and die on his couch alone.
