Mark Salling dead; 'Glee' star was facing prison for child porn possession

Mark Salling, the former "Glee" star whose career came crashing down after he was caught possessing child pornography, has died. He was 35.

Salling's attorney told the Associated Press he died in the Los Angeles area.

The LAPD told Fox News the department responded to a call about a body found on Tuesday morning.

According to TMZ, Salling died of an apparent suicide. The gossip site reports that Salling's body was found in California's Tujunga-Sunland area.

"The LAPD did respond to a death investigation at 8:50 this morning at the 11900 block Big Tujunga Canyon Road," an officer told Fox News.

In October, Salling pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. He was set to be sentenced on March 7 and was facing four to seven years behind bars.

The actor reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in October in which he admitted he possessed images of prepubescent children. The agreement stated a search warrant found more than 50,000 images of child porn on Salling's computer and a thumb drive.

The actor played bad-boy Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the Fox musical dramedy "Glee."

50,000+ images and 600+ videos of kids getting sexually abused. I remember reading a while back that every kid that they tracked down who was involved in any of the media he possessed, they were suppossed to get a huge sum of money as compensation that he would have to pay.

Money isn't worth the shit they've been through and the fact that this coward took the easy way out instead of suffering life knowing that everyone is aware you're a pedo is terrible. The only people I have sympthay for are the kids involved.
 
The benefits of being a celebrity. I had no idea who this was but fucking lol at 4 to 7. He was a celebrity so he'd probably would have been in protective custody. A prison wouldn't want that pedo to get gang raped to death. Dude would have a price on his head before he even got to prison.

So he would be in solitary for 4 to 7. But honestly I have bigger shit to think about that some fucking pedo being a coward after being handed every advantage in his life. Fuck him.
 
4-7 in solitary would drive anyone insane.
But he would also be on the sex offender registry for a long time if not life.
In addition to the living restrictions, he probably wouldn’t be allowed access to the internet and he probably wouldn’t be able to find work. It’s Hollywood though and they still let a convicted child rapist make movies (go look up Clownhouse, Powder, the Jeepers Creepers series).
He probably lost all of his money on his defense and restitution.
His friends and family probably abandoned him.
Death looks better when the rest of your life is going to be never ending pain. He also saved the tax payers money. Win-win.

In October of last year, Salling pled guilty to charges of possession of child pornography involving a pre-pubescent minor. Media reported at the time that Salling attempted suicide last August before entering the plea. Cosmopolitan reported that according to court documents, “federal investigators found approximately 25,000 still images of child pornography, 600 videos depicting child pornography, and 29,000 images of child erotica, across Salling’s laptop, thumb drive, and another encrypted hard drive. The documents describe examples of content depicting children as young as three years old.”

Some of those kids were three years old. What kind of sicko gets off to three year olds? I will never understand pedos. Seven years wasn't enough of a sentence. 7000 wouldn't be enough.

The other guy from Glee, Cory Monteith, died of a drug overdose in a hotel room. The old mixing booze and drugs deal. At least he wasn't a pedo.
