I used to play these PC games as a kid, but I can't remember the names of most of them and it's killing me. I played them in the early 2000s but they may have come out in the late 90s.
  • One of my favorites was one where you worked in a stable taking care of horses. You could brush their manes, fit them for horseshoes, and even paint them. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Barbie game. Unlike a lot of horse-related games the focus was more on caring for/beautifying horses, not riding them.
  • There was a plug-and-play console game called Dream Life that I was obsessed with. It was basically a life simulator, where you play as a teenage girl and buy clothes, make friends, study for tests, etc.
  • There was another one about designing fancy dresses from like the 1700-1800s and then playing dress up. I can't remember much about this one.
  • There was a game I played all the time called My Little Pony Friendship Gardens. I'm coming to the realization that I was probably a horse girl as a kid.
Oh, I was also fucking obsessed with those games on the Barbie/Bratz/Polly Pocket/etc websites. I would spend hours on those sites. I also love those dress up game websites, which are still a guilty pleasure of mine.
I remember going on the American Girl website, it had a couple of history dress-up type games. Also this one game which was a Oregon Trail inspired one where you have to help the Indian tribe cross safely (Kaya I think?).

This site has a lot of cool historical and other dress up/maker games. Though I'm guessing most in here know about it lol

Thanks for the tips, but I remember that game being a CD-ROM, not an online game. I'm still sad that my mom got rid of all my old computer games years ago, haha.

I fucking love Doll Divine though, I can spend hours on there, haha.

Did the game have a talking pig in it, by any chance? I had an old PC horse game where you could choose from a variety of breeds and take care of them in a stable. This included washing them and cleaning their hooves.

I like games like MGSV where you can get the dlc tuxedo for V. I think it's cute when you can dress up in funny outfits. I also like the Madoka Magica: Magia Record game because it's cute but I'm sure a lot of shitty pedos like that kind of stuff too. Is Animal Crossing worth it?

I don't quite remember a pig, but it's entirely possible! The rest of your description sounds familiar. Do you remember what the game is called?

Just did some Googling, it was called Crayola Paint n' Play Pony. Now that I think about it this game let you do pretty much everything.

HOLY SHIT

THAT'S FUCKING IT

You just triggered so many flashbacks, lmao.

It's made by IBM, and I even remember the IBM logo flashing on the screen every time I booted up the game. And now I totally remember the pig.

You also helped me remember that the historical dress-up game I mentioned was also a Crayola game. It was called Crayola Magic Princess: Paper Doll.

I'm going to need to see if these have been emulated, I really want relive my childhood, haha.

Dunno if anyones mentioned this one but Alice Madness Returns, and the original American mcgees alice, both struck a very girly cord in me. AMR is a gorgeous game with some satisfying combat, good story, some annoying puzzles and parkour but I managed to finish the whole thing and still want more. The dresses? the flowy hair? the landscapes? fuckin amazing, I recommend getting the console version for the full experience but its still good on PC

The PlayStation 3 version comes with the first game as a bonus, too!

Anyone play Rockett's New School or Secret Paths in the Forest? As a kid who grew up on a Mac, game options were painfully limited so those two games were basically my entire childhood.

Huh, so to make game girly you just have to add sparkles, dress up and pony's after all.

I'm sure it's been posted already, but the Style Savvy series on the DS/3DS is still one of my favorite game series. I still boot it up every now and then to make cute outfits and play dress-up. It has a lot of different fashion styles, make-up, and hair options.

The gameplay itself is very repetitve but it's easy fun, I hope they make a new one for Switch because I would love to play it again, especially with better graphics.

So by that logic a game like Witcher 3 is girly.

>geralt has shit ton of clothes to buy and wear
>you can dress up Roach too
>literally hair salons for geralt to visit
>sparkly and glowy Witcher signs
>women basically run geralt's life and he has an animu magical girl daughter
