So far I am really enjoying Cupid Parasite. I have completed Ryuki's and Shelby's routes so far and I am currently halfway through Gil's, so far the game has been quite enjoyable.

I did manage to pick up Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly with the cards that Aksys puts in for their otome games in the first print runs sealed and intact for fifty dollars which is significantly less than what it typically goes for. I have been looking at the guides and I am kind of intimidated since it seems like the interface seems a bit fucky from what I read compared to most otome games, something about a flowchart or something? Maybe it will make sense when I actually sit down to play it, but if someone who has played the Psychedelica games can chime in, that would be good because it sounds confusing.

There are many otome games for sale at the Nintendo eshop right now, like Cupid parasite -50% (25€ in my region). There is new otome coming next month that I was waiting for (Birushana) but maybe I'll buy Cupid Parasite for palate cleanser between that and Olympia soiree, since it seems like fun and not so heavy. I usually binge these games but for some reason I keep losing interest and have long breaks between routes with Olympia soiree, but I don't know if it is the game or me just not feeling like playing VN so much right now...

I played the original The Sims game back in the early 2000's. I bought it for PC and you could run it anything. I even both the PS2 version. Though by The Sims 2 it was kind of considered a game girls play. I didn't care much for it. It's just real life tedium packed into a video game.

Yeah, I finished Olympia Soiree, but I didn't finish the bad endings or short stories mostly because I will be honest, the ones I read were a bit too fanservicey for me.

Aw, all this talk of pet games is making me nostalgic. Its been at least like 10 years, I'm just going to pretend after I stopped playing my Nintendogs got adopted by nice people

I was actually looking for something like that for Switch so it could be something other than a VN and Rune Factory (Dylas and Ryker best) machine, but I only found one game that didn't look too promising. Maybe I'll emulate the original
Felt that, I occasionally think back on my Nintendogs and get pangs of guilt for "abandoning" them. It'd be great if we got a rebooted version for the Switch or something.

Also yes, Dylas best.
I keep looking back at that game and thinking about my virtual dogs and how the pups used for the covers of those games have passed away by now.

Feels bad man.

Question, what's the worst "girly" videogame anyone here has played?
Geez, I would have to say this Anastasia point and click game I played that my grandma got me. I could never finish it because I would always get too scared. Infact, the movie also scared me even more which was another reason why I was too scared to play the game. I kind of don't know what happened to it, but it would be nice to try and finish it. It wasn't bad due to the gameplay persay, it was more bad just because it traumatized me.

Best girly game I played growing up? Definitely that American Girl movie maker game, that game was based as fuck with everything you can do with it.

Probably an old shovelware veterinarian game, I don't remember the name but it was the most barebones shit and had horrible graphics.

My friend had a computer game which was some Barbie vet thing. There was a part where you had to catch a monkey and treat it. We sat there for way too long trying to catch that stupid monkey and never did. Maybe we were just stupid.

Barbie Pet Rescue. I loved this game, but the monkey part at the end was bullshit.

My cousin loved it, but I hated it

I play ILLUSION (koikatsu, etc) games for the dress-up. I enjoy taking other peoples' depictions of franchise characters or making my own and giving them a set of cute outfits. Its a product of both the casual dress up games' move to mobile platforms and the endless monetization of character customization in games that a pirated porn game does it better. Yes, I wasted lots of hours in MMD, but KK does everything but animations easier. Memory leaks are real, so 16GB or more of RAM should be recommended.
