Not exactly a girly game, but it is very obviously targeted for girls, I just preordered the Touken Ranbu Musou game that's coming out at the end of May.
I'm really excited about it, I've been wanting to get one, but it seems the one I really want is fated to remain in Japan.(Dragon Quest Heroes) So I'll just get this one instead.

Can we mention 'my candy love'? Like idk if it got as big in the English part of the internet but here on French and mostly the Spanish part of the internet it got huge. God I wished I could've have played but the company overpriced stuff and more to the point where now they're releasing 3 routes they took from the of game because they're running out of money.

Oh man, I've been playing My Candy Love for years now. Castiel romancer here. Being a veteran player of Beemoov's games is like being in an abusive relationship.

MCL was great at first, especially for being free and having customized illustrations. It took a massive nosedive once they changed the AP system and decided to get rid of some of the love interests. I remember the outrage vividly, people left in droves. Beemoov are a bunch of greedy motherfuckers who never learn; you can't even finish events without having to use AP now. That said, I'm shocked they actually caved and brought Lysander back for Alternate Life, nicest thing they've done in ages.

I've also played Eldarya but the ending pissed me off so much that I have zero interest in the continuation. (I romanced Valkyon, that shit was downright cruel.) Moonlight Lovers didn't hold my interest for very long. If I were smart I would've abandoned MCL when everyone else did, but I still want to finish it because I've been invested for so long. Goddamn you, Beemoov.

Ironically enough, they sent out a survey today for feedback on future games. Wonder how that's gonna go.

So many musou games coming out in recent years. I get that it's an easy format to copy paste many series onto, but fuck does it seem like every series is doing it. I would not be surprised to see a Final Fantasy or Pokemon musou soon. Unless I missed it already...?

I feel like Fire Emblem was a natural fit for thr Warriors genre. Many character variety, already a strategy series, and characters already had weapons-based classes. Fire Emblem Warriors unfortunately suffered from focusing too much on Fates and Awakening characters. Looking forward to Fire Emblem Three Hopes June 24 as it seems to be more than just a Musou with Fire Emblem paint job.

Square did try thier hand at a Musou game with Drakengard, but I'm not sure they've ever made one for Final Fantasy proper. And yeah, Musou games are very repetitive, that's why I've been holding out for Dragon quest heroes, but squeenix are being asses about bringing that over, so I'm going for the pretty sword boys instead.

It looks like it'll be a one and done, plus, all the dlc they have is just lame "relax time" like outfits that'll be easy to pass over for me.

Heres to hoping you'll enjoy Three houses then.👍

Tbh what I did is get MCL editor and download packs and bases to customize your sucrette (offline of course) and made my fanfics that looked like real screenshots. Tbh the one that hurted me was the kentin route. I have an endless amount of angsty fanfics from that route

I have a soft spot for the Sims 3 and 4. Never got into the crazy mod culture, though. I had no idea that was even a thing until I discovered the thread about it here.

I also loved the Fire Emblem games on the 3DS, and older games they re-released on the 3DS like FF6 and Chrono Trigger.

Now I mostly waste my life and money on mobile games like Fate Grand Order, Valkyrie Connect, Obey Me, Food Fantasy, Fire Emblem Heroes and others even more embarrassing than those that I won't list here.

Wait, years? Is it still going on? I saw ads for this thing back in 2012.

this game's worth an emulation if you like rhythm games, its pretty cute

Yup, it launched in 2011.

Speaking of Food Fantasy, I barely play it anymore, which sadly seems to be the case for a lot of people. I still like collecting new Food Souls but I haven't touched the actual story in ages.
Yup, surprisingly Food Fantasy is still around. There always seems to be some Event or new Food Soul to summon each time I log in (which isn't very often). So it's nice to see an older app that hasn't gone completely defunct yet. So many of them have...

Oh my good, I remember playing that game so much!
It's just one of cutest otome games ever brought over here! Best boy to me was the purple haired one. And the bratty one.
I'm really wanting to check this one out now. I still have my 3Ds....somewhere. lol

Have you ever played A3! or Utapri? They were both pretty much the same game but enjoyable rhythm games nonetheless. I think Utapri had the better songs, though.

If you can find that game, it's worth it in my opinion. All the guys except two, have two endings each, and there's a nice selection of outfits and cute little accessories to wear.
There's not a big selection of songs. but that didn't bother me as I got it more for the vn aspect.

As for those other two properties:
Sadly no, I've not played either of those two. The most experience I've had with Utapri is watching the first two seasons of the anime.
I really do need to watch the rest of it, although I don't know how they can top the ending of that second season.
So Idolish wins by happygasiming the ENTIRE UNIVERSE! I kid you not, there song happygasims the whole universe.
Need to watch the A3! Anime as well...

Edit: added a bit more to the post.

Haha I didn't even know these games had an anime so thank you for that! I may have to look them up now.

I'm not sure if you've heard of Obey Me but it's an Otome game but also a bit of a rhythm game, itself. It's silly and kinda lame but I just had to recommend it again because it captured me...And I usually just go for straightforward JRPG's and such.

And, like, the voice actors are all super adorable and post a lot on Youtube and interact with the fans a lot. And well, at the cost of being super cringe I'll post a link here to one of their "meet and greets (make sure to turn on CC if you decide to watch)."

Like I said, I never thought I'd ever like a game like this, but they kinda won me over in the end. I blame Covid and all that free time lol.
