I got a ps5 for Ratchet and Clank (like the filthy consoomer I am) and gave Genshin a pass to see how it holds up compared to ps4. Holy fucking shit, it's not just the 60 fps that looks incredible but also the loading times are a tenth of what they previously were and the game feels far less broken due to less lag and better networking.
Anyways I'm going to hold off on the game until Ganyu or another broken character, grinding for relics for Ayaka kinda broke me and despite not quite finishing it, the end result feels pretty mediocre that pales in comparison to Hu Tao's sheer insane output (though her burst is sick).

I mean at least their complaints make sense.

A lot of people complaining about her just lack reading comprehension or they're building intentionally shit teams for some reason. It would be funny if she was buffed and in a week people complained she was stronger than Zhongli.

I went hard on world hopping to get it and r2 it. Now I'm just content to get the refinements with time in my own world. Nothing ever comes quickly in this game.

depends how much you leech off other players, it's just timegated really since fishing holes apparently take 3 days to respawn (although I could use a few of them 2 days/nights in a row with different fish each, so who knows, might be 3 days start after you fully cleared it and it despawns).

for a r5 catch you need 2x 20 koi, 2x 40 pufferfish and 18 raimei angelfish. the rods and furnishing needs other fish, 20 each but 70! medaka (3x 20 + 10 for the furnishing)

In fairness our Elections are basically whatever Ontatio and the French want, tough shit to the rest of the country...

Back on topic, Baal works pretty well as an Energizer Bunny from me dicking around in the Test Run - and yeah, they fuck with the numbers there, but its faster than building her - and her Archon Quest, so if nothing else she’s great for spamming Bursts.

yeah, they really need to bring back misty dungeons or extend the events with trial chars. I would have far less issues with their whalecheck shit if they'd just offer premade chars meaning it doesn't depend on RNG and how much you whaled. would also make people open their wallet next time the banner comes up.
 
In other news it looks like they changed the gender of the dendro archon

You can still hear the en voice say he. I thought the lesser lord and the dendro archon were different characters but they seem to be the same. Im kinda sad since I only spend money on male characters if I don't get them and i was looking forward to the denro archon but now I don't care for them. Ill just wait for baizhu banner

Alright, I need to ask - how are people having trouble with the new Electro Boss? It’s attack pattern is stupidly easy to dodge, and it’s first half you can easily take no damage by not being in the incredibly obvious AoE’s...

Is there a joke I’m missing, or have people just gotten this shit at vidya?

It can be hard to hit with melee characters. That thing repositions often. But it's not that hard. People just got to it without any expectations, got their asses teared by unexpected timings, and now scared due to psycological mechanism of imprinting. Having ranged DD would help too.
 
Haven't played this game in the last 2 months and don't feel like I've missed anything, hoes.....

You’d think that, considering how many enemies and bosses can just randomly teleport around, most people would have at least one Bow user ready to go at all times.

I’m in no place to judge, Klee and Kazuha as a one two combo just deletes... most everything really. Add in Ganyu for the fact Ganyu should never have been released as is with how much damage she shits out, if I’m not constantly proccing Swirl I’m proccing Melt, and both do stupid damage...

considering bow dps is either 5* or requires building for it (only to end up with physical usually so no unga-bunga big melt/vape numbers) I can understand lot of people not having one. dunno how worthwhile aloy is, only getting her next patch.

other range option is catalyst which usually uses stamina, and given how much you run around it's annoying af constantly being out as well (and doesn't help that the boss moves so far around it's easy to miss half the time.
 
I beat the dragon boss in the prologue. Weird af when I didn't know what I was doing. Am at adventure lvl 19 now. I want to get Aloy at 20.

So to get characters it really is the Xenoblade 2 gattcha mechanic but worse? I got Xiangling and Barbara. So I have them, Amber, the ice dude who's name i forget, Lisa, and the maid girl with the big fucking sword and purple hair. Unlocking characters is confusing
