It's always been the sort of game I binge hard on for a few weeks and then take a long break from, even if it's mostly just dailies. Once I hit world level 7 the grind felt pointless outside of getting primogems, getting more rolls is fun but I honestly have really solid teams atm even if I want more. I mainly got burned out hard when Mona cucked me out of the Kazuha I was saving for, but eh, that's just gacha being gacha. I've played a little bit of Inazuma on friend's worlds but I still have a few required quests I need to do to unlock the area for myself. I'm so bad at neglecting basic things in the game while powerlevelling characters so hard. Like not even unlocking the food equip gadget and not doing anything with the teapot house yet

Definitely build up your teapot dimension. It's pretty relaxing to decorate your own world/house and if you upgraded it to its full potential, you can buy some useful stuff every week (extra exp books, extra artifact exp, weapon exp crystals and even 60 resin)

Plus you can passively increase friendship with some characters.

Nice, I didn't see this until now. I don't think we've gotten any solid 2.2 leaks aside from one screenshot of Yoimiya in front of the Dragonspine cryo regisvine.

So far its looking like it'll have at least one rerun. Unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait on Baal till her rerun because I really want to go for both Albedo and Ganyu.

I absolutely loved the cryo Regisvine, mainly because it pushed your shit in if you ignored its 1 mechanic.

It was funny standing inside a shield and watching 1 guy freeze to death. The fight only failed if everyone died at the same time but you could respawn and rejoin the fight, thankfully.
 
Yeah the cryo regisvine was just bullshit enough to be challenging and memorable, made a couple friends there through having to actaully work as a team for once in the game. I hated everything else in dragonspine but I'm very glad that fight was included even though I absolutely HATED it for the first hour or two. Would like to see some more coop content like that, sure there's multiplayer but so little of the game requires you to fill specific roles besides MAYBE one healer in the party. They could definitely push further than this, maybe have pseudo-raid like events. Tho I like the game's cap of four players in a team, which is probably all the game can handle anyway

EDIT: oh yeah, I also took a group photo with the team that managed to do consistent runs together! Was a fun time

Hey everyone, i got in genshin hell around kazuha's banner, still playing and almost getting AR50. The grind is starting to get me but so far so good. I thankfully got Diluc on standard banner and an okay atk/pyro/crit witch set so i'm not too frustrated. Got around 20 wishes to roll on baal and hope at least Sucrose c1 since i need a good wind character.

I dont know how good raiden is but i dont really care about meta at all. Praying for thoma to be useful since i'm severely lacking on the dude department (leaks say he's a pyro shielder who scales with hp but who knows?). Good luck to yall.
 
I knew i should've stopped when i saw my first pull at 0/10 was barbara. It was an omen. I rolled 30 for now only to get 2 barbaras and 1 xingling (not sucrose but better than nothing). Meanwhile you peps be getting 5*s before half pity. The only early 5* i got was Qiqi at 13 and i cant look at her without thinking it could've been kazuha.

At least i only had barbara on c1 so she's c3 now... Urgh, should i even bother training her past 50/60 at all? I already got bennet c1 and qiqi but Barbara is my only water user so if i want Ayaka to freeze something, she's my only choice. I like ayaka but diluc is so much easier to use it's not even funny.

The nice thing about Barbara is that she doesn't need much investment at all. If you put Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers on her, she gets a good amount of HP boost and provides a damage buff to the next character she swaps to. She works okay with Ayaka because Let the Show Begin will proc hydro on an enemy so all you have to do is dash in with Ayaka for an easy freeze. Just get her passive healing to a point where you're satisfied and then you never have to worry about investing in her again.

That's basically all i've been doing with her. Equip dragon tales, get in, press E, switch to ayaka, dash, burst someone frozen. Actually got me through floor 9 of abyss in 3 stars but nothing further since my builds are thrash. But even then i already got Diona (forgot to mention) to battery/shield/heal ayaka so Barbara healing is unnecessary. She's basically a atk boost bot and an emergency water droplet if i ever need to kill pyro hipo or pyro gunner. Thus why i wonder if it's even worth putting her past 50, if that's all i can get from her.

I guess it's easy to say "just wait for Xinqiu lol" but i never seem to get the 4* i actually want. Nearly all 4* i got are elec and ice but superconduct doesnt help ayaka at all. I have keking but all the flak she gets makes me think she isnt worth the effort. Diluc is doing fine with overload fish/beidou but i know it's not abyss optimal.

I'm rolling on baal but is it even worth it if she wont synergize with Diluc or Ayaka? Man, i hope kokomi doenst end up being barbara 2.0 cause i could really use a good water spreader.
 
mona moment. i ain't even too salty, i got a guarantee for next 5*, so i'll just keep pulling on her banner till i either hit it or she goes away, if not that then leaks are as soon as tomorrow and we'll know what's comin up for sure
 
PSA for those who were planning on using Raiden with Beidou, the sword strikes will NOT proc Baidou burst.

tl;dr: Beidou chain lightning only triggers on normal atk dmg and Raiden's burst slashes are technically burst dmg. It will still proc xinqiu swords since those come out on swing animation and you don need to dmg anything.

This is very lame considering that's the one duo i (and everyone) was planning to rock lol. Maybe it can still work but you cant burst with raiden during beidou's burst since you'll simply waste beidou.

Edit: Watching reddit freakout of this and calling it a bug / nerf makes me feel a little better about myself. I'm not very good at genshin but at least i know how the game actually works lol.

So, turns out Aloy technically does have a Constellation, but all 6 of them just read “The time has not come”. Guessing that reveal will wait until she’s out on all versions of the game.

That or they’re just never gonna update it, 50/50 odds
 
Might be an unpopular opinion, but Baal might be the worse designed character in the game visual wise and it's worse for being one of the big characters.
She just looks bland. There is no unique design to differentiate her from any mega Japanese bitch you'd see in any anime.
