Finally finished the mountain quest. Took few hours to do it, would have probably taken less climbing a literal mountain. That challenge at the bottom of the cavern can go fuck itself, though it can be cheesed by drowning your enemies. Also got to AR41, got to say that the jump in difficulty is far smaller compared to AR35.
Is there any loot that's worth it on the quest part of the Wind festival? The money and experience books aren't appealing enough, I also gave up trying to get the bow until the boss enemy will change (stuck at those mini godzilla for some reason).

Yeah, The wind festival stuff was never worth it. The tower defense subgame from the last festival was hella good, though...

Hu Tao is done being built. I gave her a stack of hp% artifacts I had and she's at about 35,800 hp which makes her hit brutally when her steroid is up.

Gonna work on diona next and get her to around level 70. I don't think her ascension 4 skill matters much since she's a pure support character with cryo reactions. Favonius Bow goes on her.

After that, it'll be working on Xingqiu with the Favonius Sword. He seems to be a better pick than Mona in terms of supporting Hu Tao. Good thing silk flowers are easy to farm.

I have Xiangling built and lvl 70. Idk if it'd be wiser to swap her out for Bennet and build him? It'd be pretty doable since I have an asston of the windwheels.

I have Fischl, Keqing, and Klee at level 80 but used them to be carries prior to my break. Is it just me or do Razor/KEqing/Fischl seem to be better as physical damage dealers than elemental damage dealers?

Thoughts on all the 4 stars anyone? I've heard that Kaeya's now regarded as the best free 4 star.

Just go barbara in coop and heal everyone or something. I dont think the bosses are gonna change now that we're on the last phase

it's probably not a big deal if you just run with a support like Barbara, Diona, Bennett, or

idk, does Noelle's shields work for the team too?

I have Fischl, Keqing, and Klee at level 80 but used them to be carries prior to my break. Is it just me or do Razor/KEqing/Fischl seem to be better as physical damage dealers than elemental damage dealers?

Razor at least is better as a Physical damage dealer, but that's largely because Electro is garbage compared to the other elements (it's a decent primer, but barring interactions with Wet enemies you're better off just going Physical).

Hopefully when the new region (with, y'know, the Electro Archon) comes out Electro gets a buff, but I'm not holding my breath on that

In terms of starters Kaeya and Noelle are definitely the best 2. Kaeya you can go the physical route with an electro support or the blizzard 4 piece route by pairing him with chongyun and an optional hydro support. I think most people just build him as a cryo support but eh. His cryo application/burst is kind of too awkward to consistently set up melts.
Noelle is a good support, and a decent DPS. Becomes up to par with other 4* DPS when you have geo resonance/someone to charge her burst, and maybe C6 (not hard to get, shes on banners all the time).

Not sure, besides Zhongli at like C4 or w/e the only character I know who can supply shields in co-op is Diona

i think the problem is that pyro/cryo are just so much better to combo with reactions.

Electro has a different dmg formula too iirc? I kinda wish electro lasted longer to offset its differences with pyro.

Keqing can be a physical damage dealer but you'd need to ramp up her crit % and attack stat, which is doable. . .

FIschl is not meant to be a primary dps at all and is best as a sub-DPS because despite her attack speed being high, she's carried by the summon.

It's a shame because you'd think they'd be better but then you have fuckin no reason to run electro comps unless you specifically build for them and it's underwhelming.

Immediately off hand, Bennett is an amazing Support, just don't put him to C6 - that upgrade, hilariously, is more of a nerf than anything else

Barbara is the standard White Mage - you turn on her skill, spam attacks to heal, and if you manage to get C6 you have a free Rez with a Full Heal every 15 minutes

Beidou is somewhat in the same boat as Razor, she seems better as a Physical Attacker, but her skill being a counter is useful at least.

Ninguang is a decent enough attacker, Geo does that I guess, and her "Trump Wall" can soak a fair bit of damage if nothing else

The rest of the Liyue 4 Stars, idk, I haven't really had much of a reason to use most of them.

Diona's in this weird spot of being both a Sub-DPS and a Support. She's definitely weighed more to Support off of her kit providing shields and heals, just make sure to up her Energy Recharge rate

Sucrose, character aside, is kind meh personally. Probably why I forgot her...

I was told that Beidou is absolutely not a DPS carry and more of a burst sub dps with some support.

Xingqiu is apparently the best friend to all pyro DPS characters because of vaporize enabling shit.

idk about Xinyan, I hear she's ok.

Sucrose, from my experience, is pretty decent and a better anemo than the MC.

idk about Chongyun but at least he's consistent.

For the record, at C2 Barbara's ring gives your active character a 15% hydro boost. Unfortuanetly this pretty much only matters for Childefags since Xingqiu is off the field most of the time (still a nice boost to your rainshield attacks though, especially if you have the 2 constellations that buff it). However, if you have R5 Thrilling Tales on her (like you should) it will "snapshot" and apply the attack buff throughout Xingqiu's burst for the 10s buff duration even if he's off field. She was the first character I C6'd, for some reason the game just loved handing me Barbara's in the first month.

What about the other 4 stars that aren't freebies?

Chongyun is great but niche. Good in Xiangling, Hu Tao, and cryo dps comps (so basically just Kaeya and Rosaria for now). He falls off super hard as an actual DPS unit but I guess if you're a hardcore chongfag you can probably hyper invest in him and get some decent damage. Though you can say that about every character.
Other 4* DPS though - Kaeya, Noelle (already talked about)
Razor - pretty much the goto for a physical damage user. Would recommend always pairing Kaeya with him for constant SC uptime. Gets fucked on by Ruin enemies due to high phys resist, but is great vs fatui/human enemies
Ning - Not everyones cup of tea, but a hell of a unit once you get her built. If you happen to get a 5* catalyst from standard and don't have Klee you might as well build her. Godtier synergy with Zhongli. Good with Noelle too.
Xiangling - This bitch has a bajillion different comps she can use, and once you get a better pyro dps like Hu Tao/Diluc you can easily change her to a support. My personal favorite is XQ+Chong+Xiangling+flexible slot (anemo support, pyro support, Diona, Barbara)

• Razor's weird because I wish I rolled him when I was earlygame but now that I have him, I don't have a decent greatsword for him.
• I'm building Ning slowly. She uses the BP shop's catalyst.
• Xiangling's a dope support dps.

I'd think a Sucrose as a backup wouldn't be a terrible idea, especially if for some reason you need effectively the same Anemo character in both teams if you're tackling later Abyss levels.

i have but i'm not going into dragonspine until i get my current team all built.

Diona's almost at ascension 4, i just need to kill the ice flower boss 2 more times. Xingqiu's up after that and he'll be easy to deal with because the boss that drops his mats is easy as fuck and i have a massive surplus of his own materials. Literally the only issue I'd have is levelling the favonius sword to match his level.

Xiangling seems to be a good team member but maybe i should use klee instead, or bennett? (don't have a good sword for him outside of lion's roar or prototype rancour).

Hu Tao main dps, diona/xingqiu support, probably want a 4th that works well so i'm thinking Xiangling since I have her built already or maybe Bennett to abuse the buffs and provide extra healing and be a sub-dps alongside XQiu.

Diona's fun to play as. pop her in, pop skills, pop out. Cryo charge attack if need be.

Pulled a Skyward Blade off the standard banner the other day and that coincided with me starting to build my Jean so that worked out nicely. She's growing on me more with how useful it is being able to get 2x fall damage and how quick her cooldowns are, still kind of limited though.

I wanted to try and get to the soft coinflip for Venti this time but it looks like I'll finish off this banner at 72 or 73 which is kind of a shame because its right there. I think I'll probably just end up saving for whenever the Klee rerun is or Dainsleif.

To anyone pulling for Rosaria hopefully you don't get spooked by Tart/Qiqi.

Pulled a Skyward Blade off the standard banner the other day and that coincided with me starting to build my Jean so that worked out nicely. She's growing on me more with how useful it is being able to get 2x fall damage and how quick her cooldowns are, still kind of limited though.

I wanted to try and get to the soft coinflip for Venti this time but it looks like I'll finish off this banner at 72 or 73 which is kind of a shame because its right there. I think I'll probably just end up saving for whenever the Klee rerun is or Dainsleif.

Jean compliments Venti in both anemo and the utility they bring to make chaos. Throw Grand Ode, add pyro/electro/cyro/hydro and have jean chuck escapees into it. Full energy and ready for round 2. They are fairly easy to gear too.

I might just start pre-building my Jean anyway, but I'm really waiting for a good sword for her. I really want a Favonius, Flute, Aquila, or Skyward for her. Might be desperate enough to even roll on the next weapon banner that has either Flute or Favonius. I also have a Black Sword I can use but I dunno, I kind of would rather have something with either ATK% or ER%. I have the Festering Desire I could put on her but then that just means I can never use her with Bennet.

Dionas pretty much done, I'll get her Favonius bow to ascension 4 sometime and cap her level at 70 sometime too. Now to work on Xingqiu and then Bennett after him.
