I've been in the middle of a move lately, so my computer's been packed away for the past week. So most of my blessing's gone down the drain by now, how fun. At least I have 7k+ primogems at this point, and I'm pretty close to rolling a pity 5* on the event banner. None of the past 3 banners were worth it for my teams, so I'm just biding my time for now.

By the time I get back to the game the whole dating sim event's probably gonna be over. Only did the first section of Bennett's routes, he's fun but picking him and Chong for the male choices was really underwhelming for a game filled with husbandos. (I'm biased since Kaeya's my curent avvy, but he would've been infinitely better than Chong)

Barb and Noelle were pretty good choices for the girls, at least

Oh thank god, I'm used to panicking on the last day or two and wrapping things up at the last minute. The Lantern Rite was a nightmare on me when I was halfway through the first phase before I realized there were three whole chains to complete. But I was always more of a binge player here so I knocked out all the requests in a day or two

second thought maybe I should enjoy this break from the game while I can

And hey if you dont mind waiting like a fucking hour for the game to install on your phone, you could at least log in and get your daily welkin.

Yeah I've probably got the one android phone from the past five years that's not compatible with this game, haha. So stupid that cross save isn't compatible with PS4, that would've been a nice alternative for me, almost wish I decided to make my account there instead of on PC so I could play in bed

But yes if anyone puts off events like I did till the last minute... Bah, just don't even bother and go back to your normal dailies. The Dragonspine event was another particularly painful one to grind in the last day or two

honestly the game's good if you pace it and treat it as a phone gacha at heart.
I.E. do dailies, focus on a handful of characters, etc. Don't be a tard and blow thousands of dollars and try to justify it on twitter as "comfort characters".

maxed out the BP shop spear that Hu Tao uses. I'll probably spend my exp books on XQiu to get him to ascension 4.

all i need is to do the oceanid like 20 times to get him the mats. The rest are easy to farm.

I.E. do dailies, focus on a handful of characters, etc. Don't be a tard and blow thousands of dollars and try to justify it on twitter as "comfort characters".

Yeah the fucking timegating in this game is ridiculous. On top of having to wait so long for any substantial content to come out, when we get events its timegated to hell. This new arena event is pretty bad too. Takes like 20-30 seconds to clear shit on "EXTREME" and then youre done for the day, its basically like they just added a 5th commission for you to do a day.
I would be fine with the long wait for new regions but man I'm tired of fucking minigames and I'm tired of waiting for resin AND the constant 1-3 days of timegating bite-sized parts of events to us.
I'm basically a monthly spender (usually get the BP and welkin) but once my welkin runs out I'm probably not renewing either one again. Fuck do I need extra resources for, I highly doubt they will ever put anything so challenging that my current characters wont be able to just brutally rape it as they are now.

constellations don't matter. for the 5 stars, it's not really an issue because they're really good anyways. For the 4 stars, well they rerun in batches across banners so you'll probably eventually get max constellations on noelle/barbara/xiangling or sth. Max Constellation MC is also a thing but I'll admit that I'm too lazy to get all the geoculi/anemoculi.

Yeah even at ar45+ it feels like the bosses are too stingy. They should change it from 2-3 mats to 3-4 at least. That alone would save you so much resin. And while theyre at it buff artifact domains too. Like literally double the drops.

There are 3 occasions I gotten 4 5* drops during farming HT's witch flower. Plenty and impressive to look at, until I realized that all 4 carried the wrong sub stats or/and an unneeded main stat and the best, a different set piece with decent stats ...until there is a flat def underneath crit dmg.

Instead of droprate gating, Mihoyo could allow players to build up more sets for fun and experimentation for filler content.

There are 3 occasions I gotten 4 5* drops during farming HT's witch flower. Plenty and impressive to look at, until I realized that all 4 carried the wrong sub stats or/and an unneeded main stat and the best, a different set piece with decent stats ...until there is a flat def underneath crit dmg.

I think the worst RNG gating I've ever gotten was farming the petra domain for three weeks until I got any sort of Petra crit circlet. crit Damage OR rate.
Pretty much the same thing happened with the blizzard strayer domain, though I was specifically looking for a crit damage hat.

Pipi: I totally agree with you, except the update speed. I've come to accept that game developers just don't put out their games when they're done anymore. But I absolutely can't stand the wait two days to get the next content in the event times 600.

Artefact farming is hell but the talent upgrade materials from weekly bosses, good god. I've been getting everything but what I need from Stormterror for the last month. Just give me one single plume please Genshin. Hate that they put RNG mechanics into literally everything, not just the gambling part.

According to leaks though apparently in 1.5 you will be able to convert weekly boss mats as long as they're from the same boss.

Folks on Twitter are throwing a fit over the hilichurl's animations being based on indigenous people, and how some of the language in Genshin can be read as 'colorist and/or racist', plus Ulfr and Alfred's dialogue... plus the lack of 2-factor-authentication... but only after a rumor came out that Inazuma's being delayed so that MiHoYo could make more money. The timing of the drama's a bit weird to me, tbh.
