So, having seen the animations for Linnea, I kind of want to pull her. On a scale of 1 to 10, how big of a mistake would it be to pull for her and try to fit her onto a team with Lauma, Columbina and Flins? I've seen other people mention it's best to place her in a Geo team, but I have pulled literally zero geo characters outside of Zhongli.

She shreds Geo so it helps to have a geo main dps. The thing about lunar crystal is that you need to apply geo on water which is actually possible with lunar chrystalize because you keep hydro+electro but might not be possible with lauma as dendro soaks up the hydro. Need to see tests first.

The current stygian has the duck and i can't kill on fearless even with ineffa+bina and it's hitting me again how useless and bad this endgame is, so i'll probably skip linnea because i don't want zibai and i find reaction locks annoying. I won't clear the geo gecko by any means but i don't mind 1 less dust feather per patch or 100 less gems per month.

Either way, in the end it depends how much you like the unit really and how much you care about meta, cause there is no point rolling a unit to never using them. If you want to play meta, then Linnea is made for zibai but so far looks good enough even without zibai, can probably deal with wild hunt and herra with columbina. If you want to explore, being forced into hydro kinda sucks but she can heal, mine, capture animals and most people have furina.

afaik she's actually, surprisingly, not locked to 2 nodkrai as her enhanced passive only increases her geo shred from 15 to 30%. In that case she uses the husk set.

Idk about you, but this feels like something you'd figure out before launch. But then again, this is Blackstorm that botched the launch of their first game via dishonest marketing.

Here's the funny thing: THEY USED THE OFFICIAL ACCOUNT FOR REMEMENTO TO ADVERTISE THIS GAME.

What the hell? What? It's in Japanese too.

Wrapped up the R1999 story a couple hours ago. Pretty good story overall. Kind of funny that every battle stage had Mineral-weak enemies. Also, Merel continues to be cute and Lopera barely gets acknowledged(RIP)

Anyway this batch of anecdotes in Genshin is really fun. Idk if it's deliberate or just complete chance but somehow Varka happens to show up right where I am. I was at a domain to farm relics for him and he just fucking popped up right next to me like "Oh hello. I'm here for a stroll, how about you?"

He's done this a couple of times and it gave me a few jumpscares, the bastard.

Nicole's also make me like her more.
"I need to kill Varka."

"Wut?"

"I need to kill Varka...for research. Let's have him keel over when I import some good Dawn Winery booze and chug it off a cliff right in front of him!"

For someone who's technically mute, she's quite talkative.

I remember pulling for columbina despite having flins because I hoped to run a flins/aino lunar charged team and have a columbina lunar bloom/geo team. I vividly remember the glee on my face thinking that slotting her into any geo/bloom team would make the team now do nefer levels of damage. Oh how innocent I was.

But yeah all of the lunar reactions are more of gimmicks than actual reactions used in the meta. You can make a ragtag lunar bloom team without nef/lauma or ineffa but don't expect any actual damage. Lunar reactions are more so just reactions created by their respective shilled 5*s that do damage. On their own they are fucking useless. To put it into perspective imagine if, when they were just releasing dendro, they locked all bloom reactions to alhathiam. Sure you had dendro units besides alhathiam, but none of them could ever do alhathiam numbers.

I don't know why they made Columbina enable all lunar when by herself she is pure cope. All those hopes of her being a "archon level universal support" and meta changing were wrong, she just made the same lunar teams stronger by replacing aino who does no damage.

I think inefa was a good idea cause electro charge was never good she solved it while not requiring 2 nodkrai, but base electro charge is a throw reaction now. "Lunar bloom" is a fake reaction, it's just lauma boosted hyperbloom or blooms are necessary to fuel nefer/bina charge atk. Lunar charge is cute but being locked to hydro is stupid and lame and it just becomes another dot.

Genshin hasn't reached Star Rail levels of kusoge design yet but lunar was really underwhelming and artificial way to shill new units to counter new bosses. Instead of being excited, it just makes me wary of what the hell scheznaya will bring.

For as much as flak as mavuika got, she's still more flexible than nodkrais and double as subdps, with her C1 making her much easier to slot anywhere. Gonna be legit depressing if the cryo archon has another uber racist mechanic and is useless without 2 specific units.
 
After getting to play at Varka in the event quests, I'm definitely going to get him on a re-run because his animations are great and I had a lot of fun just smacking stuff with his giant swords, so he'll fit in great in a future overworld team because I'm pretty sure Snezhnaya is going to be full of shit that's immune to cryo so I'll finally have to bench my current team.
