Speaking of sauce, there's this other Chinese open-world ARPG gacha, Rewinding Cadence. It had a gameplay promo video for an upcoming beta test.

This looks....really unimpressive. The same dodge, keyframe parry system like in WuWa, but with 500% more particle effects. Like, I'm not expecting them to reinvent the deep dish plate, but this looks so uninspired.

Holy back-pain Batman.

This is the first literal showcase of the video.

Setting the tone real quick, are we?

Unsurprisingly, Ashveil was shot in the balls in the latest honkai beta. Skill nerfed, doesnt generate FU stack and he needs to mark someone first when battle starts now. His ult is weaker, enhanced follow up dropped from 600% to 200%. The team wide 80% FU bonus now only applies to him. Max stack dropped to 3. Other support stuff stays.

He got a few pity buffs in energy refund, cone buff, higher base atk and +3 stacks on ult but the cap of 3 means he only wants to ult with 0 stacks now.

I knew they would absolutely kill hypercarry playstyle (even by hsr powercreep standards, an sp neutral god support having absurd damage with no downsides was retarded) but changing the FU damage buff to only work on him is confusing as it lowers his support utility. And he's still a busted support after these nerfs.

Sounds like the free selector + weapon selector they give every anniversary. You can pick any unit that released that year + their weapon which is shockingly nice.

Wait... This isn't the anniversary wtf. What is this then? I'll have to check it out. Hmmm spotted the thread on the gacha sub and this comment

Apparently this is the merch

I'm curious about the acacia bj scene (please let me finish) so i tried to track it and it surprised me. Not the blowjob but the fact the game has english voice acting again. I heard they asked if players wanted and i guess it happened. I wonder how sucessful the game must be right now to bring it back.

(They even put sloppy noises and let you chose where to cum, how nice.)

I guess snowbreak has really come a long way... Appearing on tv makes this really funny tho.

I assume this is be a signicant blow to their jobs (*laugh track*) and reputation but it's impressive that the game is now literally in maintenance for unknown amount of time. It actually might be a case of the government getting involved and having the talk with the devs.

I'm betting on the game removing some things and censoring others which will lead to more backlash from fans again. Moral of story: Always goon responsibly.

Moral of the story: Never goon.
It's simple as that really, but well, if you can't make a good game (Nikke, Snow break and a bunch of random shitty DMM gacha games) you can shill to the retarded gooners for some easy shekels, hopefully this sets a nice precedent for the future.

It's hard to imagine a form of life lower than an angry chinaman. I doubt a tapeworm has ever been so triggered by fictional women that it devoted its life to fucking with them.

The current Genshin event takes me back to earlier versions of the game, not just because of all the story callbacks but also because they're burying plot foreshadowing, entertaining character interactions, and character development in a limited-time event story. It's not as bad as it used to be, but stuff like the conversation with Varka and Venti at the end of Act II feels like it belongs in the main story.

I do like the bartending minigame, as cheesy as it is. It lets you see slightly more than one note from the characters. Reminds me of the hangout events. I wish they hadn't abandoned those. I'm one of the five people on Earth who actually liked them.

Also it turns out 19th Century English mathematician John Venn, for whom the Venn diagram is named, existed in Teyvat.

How does nerfing works in a gacha? Games like Limbus fear doing nerfs like the plague, and it makes sense since you'd always have a whale sinking 2000$ to max out a character, and could sue for the money back.

Watching Snowbreak go into indefinite hiatus is most definitely a bad sign. Mecha Break is failing and Seasun Games have no other IP to fall back to if SBC fails yet again.

ZZZ actually has the funniest case of this imaginable from when I checked it out. It was way more interesting than the game itself.

They have an in-universe designation for Very Strong Important Characters, they're called void hunters. They're way stronger than regular units with the same investment, and I think there's 3 now. The first one of these, Miyabi, was a bit too strong for reasons I didn't entirely get.

The result? She wasn't nerfed, but all endgame content from some point on was built to try and counter this one unit in specific. She's ice element, so new bosses are now ice resistant, and ice's associated status effect just doesn't work on them on top of that. You wanted to play another ice element DPS character? Too fucking bad.

I went to look at ZZZ's revenue numbers by month, and of the three lowest performing months, two coincide with releases of the only new Ice DPS characters since Miyabi. They fucked it up so bad, they appear to have lost millions in revenue when trying to sell future characters.

i know it's only because i actually have all the shilled characters this time but this onslaught was actually kind of fun.

mandragora can be very annoying though, if you don't have venti you're in for a bad time.

This is the exact same thing that happened to a character in Silver and Blood. I'm still waiting for the EoS.

For those that still play HSR, are Acheron and Phainon still OP or did the powercreep get them?

Skirk continues to be the scourge of my coop. I want to farm columbina exp and the dude refused to swap, so OKAY (i can't expect everyone to play around my units so thats fair), i pick escofier for him and someone goes furina, the forth goes venti which is still fine, especially if they probably don't have a good hydro/cryo dps, but the skirk player still refuses to attack and keeping running around me, presumably because the team wasn't full freeze.

I even tried to kick but we can't do it inside a domain fucking wow.

Depends on the gacha. Hoyoverse has a closed beta that starts one version earlier and people can see the next patch content. Every week is a new version and they might nerf or buff something without consequences because it's unreleased content.

Most gachas try to avoid nerf out of reputation so if they fuck up balance, they have to design new content around that unit and/or inflate the hp and go full powercreep. I heard a few games did nerfs tho, like Limbus company specifically (not sure) did nerfs because it was clear it would unsustainable to balance around them.

Contrary to popular belief, it's not illegal to nerf shit. The moment you click that user license agreement you have no rights.

I think back in the inazuma event where xinqiu appeared to sign books, he says "jeez" at some point and someone made a thread on the genshinlore sub saying that implies that jesus christ existed in teyvat at some point.
