The day theme in Nasha Town where it's some dudes doing some acapella thing is like crack to me for some reason, as well as the day theme for the Frostmoon Scions, which was in the initial web event. The theme they play around the scrapyard the autistic prodigy mechanic kid's house is in has been weirdlys tuck in my head since I first heard it. Yes I know there's several different themes that play in that area I mean the one specific one that also plays inside the house in another variant. the one that sounds like fucking vaguely scottish mario rpg music
Already got Lauma so I'm good there but if a character is bad without other characters I'll still pull for them if I like their looks or personality as I don't bother with end game stuff so I dont mind a bit of jank. Which boss does Nefer counter? Because if it's one of the existing ones then they get utterly destroyed by my current team of "Furina and the Cryo Wife Squad" (Ganyu, Ice Coffee, Citlali)Nefer currently has one of the wackiest flaws ever where she's bad without Lauma and Lauma is not only great without her but already counters the one boss you would think Nefer would counter but doesn't. Hope you got lauma.

Really putting salt in the wound there huh.

The video is inoffensive as it gets, I just wanted to sperg on the Limbus Company argument, since their point buy system is so good I have all the characters and only pay for the season pass. It's the usual case in gaming where god forbid you actually praise a company for doing the right thing, but complaining about bad things is so overdone repetitive that people just tune out, losing the whole point.Tactically ignoring the tribalism spergery, I can't find myself disagreeing with the video. Game companies aren't your friend, FOMO tactics drive any gacha, gachas are intentionally not transparent about how much in-game currency you're buying,... But at the same time, at what point are you responsible for your own experience? It takes a specific type of person to log into a game daily for months/years on end even after they stopped enjoying it, or to spend all their money on a character that will rerun in 5 months anyway.
Because I'm not a gambling addict, I've actually found free mobile gacha games more fair than console games, where you have to spend hundreds on a console (often built to only last a year without needing bullshit repairs) and spend 60 extra on a game that has a lot less content, looks worse than a free mobile game somehow and with the chance you won't even enjoy it.
Entire video of him is just a intellectual wannabe mentioning all monetization schemes have been used before not even exclusive in Gacha games. Except he makes them somehow being only thing in Gacha despite he mentions mobile games at the start. The Tribalism argument is also common to basically every fanbase, including non gaming ones
I'll add that 99% of the time, Gacha companies don't give a shit about any communities outside of Asia. So it's an argument that is completely pointless to the audience listening.I don't want to rambling much, so I'll say the main point here. He puts triablism at the end not because he really thinks triablism actually really really is a monetization tactic. He puts it there because he was salty about other people calling out on his trash or horribly wrong criticism on certain aspect of the game once. He paints it generally fandoms being fanatic so even a valid criticism (read his opinion, not necessarily true or right) is denied by the fandom.
...Also why the fuck does flins share the same level materials as aino is there lore behind that I missed why the fuck does he need machine parts and bubberducky
The gacha is the least of GFL2's worries. Balancing, lack of an endgame/improved gameplay and a watered down story. Will the weight of one bad gacha skin banner weigh down GFL2 forever?
