Got Cyno's weapon, but I had to go to 82 pity to get it (at least I didn't lose my 50/50 too for once). Not a single Faruzan con though. At this rate mind will still be C2 at EoS. Annoying.

Got William's ST in Mecharashi and got Jean as my freebie for genshin I'm happy that chronicled is going on now so I can get Alhaitham one maybe....if I don't lose my 50/50.
Thankfully Flins is still guaranteed since the banners don't share pity.
I have yet to begin Natlan so it's going to take a while before I stick my dick into the new area.
Also channeled my inner Bossmanjack and got Trigger's W-engine. Maybe she'll evolve from being a glass Canon.
I slightly regret since I am lacking attack W-engines but I digress. Will probably lose the 50/50 for Orpheus anyway because I always lose my 50/50s in this game.

Depends entirely on how far into the game you are, and if you have any of them.
They're all outshone by Limited Characters - and Dehya, much as I love her, basically needs to be C6 to even sniff being properly viable - but if you're a newer account you can't really go wrong with Jean. Limited CC on her Skill with an AoE healing ability on Burst, both causing Swirl, isn't a bad call.

I'm not that far into it, just started the Inazuma arc. My only two 5 stars, not counting myself, are Chasca and Qiqi.

So by default that eliminates Tighnari and Dehya, they need Sumeru materials, and while Mizuki is an option and uses Inazuma Materials, she’s actually garbage and a potential contender for the title of Worst 5 Star.
Jean is probably still the best all around option.
Diluc is fairly straightforward, though he’s a very early beatstick that they’ve long moved past designing.
Mona is - honestly - largely forgettable to me gameplay wise, but her Alt Sprint allowing you to run on Water is at always useful.
Kequing is, well, Kek-uing. Her kit isn’t Bad, per say, but even compared to modern 4 Stars she’s largely been Powercrept.

Reminder that chronicled wish guarantee DOES NOT carry over to the next one (like weapon banner) so i recommend only rolling if you have enough saved.
You rolled kong or got early? It is good but mostly on William and emily who are raiders and do link attacks. It still has high hp and free dmg bonus for +3 ap (by endgame you can have 10 ap) so it's a good mech.
Man i want a light s mech for my sylvie and frida... There will be a twilight banner but idk if it's worth it since it's in the arena too.
Currently getting stuck in a bad loop of being "too weak to get strong" as i can only get a B rank on the level 40 mech farm, take forever to clear the last weapon farm and too weak to clear the chip stages lol. Better take it slowly...

The free shit is only on second half of the patch day 28 i think (rip).
Short answer: If you're beginner with no pyro dps then pick diluc. If you have a 5* pyro dps and lack dendro pick tighnari. If you have both and lack any hydro pick mona or jean. If you're late in the game pick tighnari or jean cause they have some good constelations. The others are awful and should be avoided unless you want to collect them.
Long answer:
Diluc: Completely powercrept by modern 5* but the only one in this list who can actually kill stuff by himself. Can be unga bunba mash combo and skill or carefully played to vaporize properly with xinqiu. Claymore + good pyro aplication = good shield breaker. Cheap wide burst is good for wiping light mob waves and will actually do fall damage depending on mob/terrain. Has the strongest plunge attack scaling in the game and a completely useless charge attack passive for no reason. TERRIBLE CONSTELATIONS but c6 changes his combo route so it sounds fun. Even late game Diluc is not a bad early theater filler dps.
Tighnari: Requires sumeru materials but he's great for exploring sumeru (dendro bow and shows flowers). Does good low ceiling damage with just an electro unit while being easy to build (3* bow) and use (just do skill burst triple charge shot). His skill smoke is actually the only true "confusion" in the game and actually works on elite enemies. Dendro is a premium element so he's valuable even as a filler theater slot. His C6 is the best standard con and makes him much stronger. He does re
Jean: She does her skill and burst and leaves. Still useful late game due to furina and VV+good heal, but sayu is viable too. Has a specific rare niche in pulling and yeeting human enemies to deal fixed fall damage. Her skill is the opposite of group up and can be annoying. Good theater filler. C1 is much better pull (actual CC now), C2 is 15% atk speed (actually great) and c4 is anemo shred.
Mona: Is hydro which means a premium element; Has a kinda bad hydro application but it's AoE which is just enough to keep grouped up mobs frozen when paired with kazuha/venti, giving her a minor freeze niche. Everything else she's bad or cope. C1 is fucking bugged and she has DPS cons for no reaosn.
Qiqi: Awful. Imagine having a 30 second cooldown skill and generating no particles. Doesn't even heal that much for modern standards either. Worthless constelations. Do not pick her.
Dehya: Awful. Her skill doing pyro off field is the only reason to use her and it's slow, weak and has 12/20 uptime until C2. She's often thrown as an off-element unit on theater for the sake of Kinich/Emilie. Has good cons that aren't good enough to save her, but c2 improves skill uptime enough to make her a light enabler.

Whichever one you want. If there is no one in particular that appeals to you, and if you do not have a healer character you particularly like yet (ie you don't like Barbara), then consider getting Jean or Qiqi.

Still no artifact loadouts and I very much doubt the RNG for the substats is getting improved any time soon, but at least artifacts will show you what substat they will have if they don't have 4 already. This is nice, actually. I've wasted so much time and coins checking what's the 4th substat on an artifact just for it to be useless.

I did however get Eileen early so I'm wondering if I should roll her ST or save for Camilla.

If you don't have tighnari he's a character that has a unique ability nobody else has where his little elemental skill thing makes enemies schizo out and attack either nothing or each other while also being an AOE spot for dendro. Really fun.
(and he's also nulls vtuber persona concept didn't hear it from me)
EDIT: I should probably use tighnari a bit more again sometime because it might be fun to combo his thing with ineffas electro rain shit
I need to do the weird account bullshit eventually but apperently the ps4 stuff is still beign supported till next year even with the delisting of the game from the ps4 psn store which proves to me it isn't "too powerful" like they claim. I'll check the update a bit later today if things go alright for me and I don't collapse from being up for two days again.
I named my guy a really funny thing that popped up on the auto-complete when I was typing in random letters. Won't mention it but it somehow perfectly fit the guy's nature of being a strong headed little retard nugget. Apperently there's a quest where you have to say goodbye to him and he leaves but it never triggered for me so theoretically i still have him with me

Her ST is nice, but getting her to A3 is generally better since it reduces Rocket weight making it easier to put 2 on her. Since you get 2 free ascensions via events, you only need to pull one extra copy. If you have the free Arcus she fits well into that.
She's fine at A0 if you want to save.

Edit: reached one of the Chapter 4 stages and the game basically spoiled its own plot twist. Lmao they really did make no attempts at hiding that the mysterious "???" lady you fight, running around and hijacking STs, is Rosa. If it's not her white hair and face, it's the fact she shares the fucking same voicelines.

Just found out the "mecharashi guild friend unit borrow" only applies to story missions and their hard mode farms, not to the mode where that would be actually useful, and even then the pilots you borrow are downgraded to the level cap of your permit tier so they're not solo carrying but their passive and whale mechs still go so they're good enough if you need help beat story useless in the actual hard farms.
The new "veiled trader" on dispatch is really nice, he sold me a ticked for sale so it's just a cheaper roll. He can also sell Y-6 chips which is extremely late game. We can buy chip ascensions for a-ranks too with dispatch currency too.
I'm really liking her ST but it's a bit overrated. You're not realistically getting the 5 x 6% dmg boost on anyone but missile dps and even then you almost never see 5 enemies together. The firepower is lower than average but it has very high weight value.
Even without Eileen A3, it can hold 2 light weight gold tier missiles + ammo backpack + any mods. With 4 power mods i can hold one light + one heavy and with a gold powerpack two heavy missiles and any mods. Alternatively, you can technically not use 2 missiles and give her a rifle to shoot someone for 1 AP once your get her free re-atk from Y1, as doing shots every turn is too costly for now.
Like dollar store said, Arcus is fine but missiles are heavier so for eileen it forces you to hold 2 light S missiles and it's either weight mods + ammo pack vs powerpack + offensive modules.
If you prefer a light mech twilight fang wil lget it's banner soon. It's farmable on the arena but arena is hyper tilting to play even if there is time and the rewards are good. It's free dmg boost on anyone who uses 2 different types of weapons, so anyone who uses 1h + shield (sylvie and others) or melee + gun (marcus, kaidan) can use it well.
It's even worse, the boss not only has literally Rosa's personal passive with the same name (if it was a different name it would be kinda clever), but she also has a second passive literally called Valkyrie. It's not even "not trying to hide", it's like they want you to instantly to know it's Rosa. It's so egregious i starting to think it has to be a fake out and it's a clone or something.
Dragonspine 100% is the fakest 100% as there is no compass but they'll probably not add at this point.
The nodkrai compass is actually a TRUE COMPASS and will reveal literally everything, making it clear how much stuff is still out there despite the map saying 100%. (found on reddit)
