It's a gacha game, so it's going to be greedy, of course. They gotta make money somehow. But I think it's just plain insulting. They are actually trying to pass this shit off while promising better monetization options so people actually get value for the money they put in this. What the fuck lmao.

And yes, indeed, it's a background skin for the PvP or whatever. It has no advantage. It doesn't even add special effects or change the music. You are just playing in a different place. It's effectively worthless and superfluous. But why that fucking price then?

Yeah, grant is kinda the "comic relief character" where the joke is that he is old and drunk so he must be lazy and dumb. You know, because asians are ageist so anyone above 35 is useless or something.

It's supposed to be somewhat playful back and forth, but in the story they're on the run and keep shitting on grant. I only saw one case where they have an actually fun dynamic where Kaidan makes fu grant for lying about his age, then grants calls out for kaiden lying about his height first.

Sylvie is worse, seems like her entire personality is "I don't trust you even tho you saved me 4 times by now".

And yeah, if you know mercenary mech pilot media, especially front mission, this story is cliche is fuck. Betrayal, framed for terrorism, multiple factions fighting, secret project about creating super pilots, etc. It was literally going to be a front mission game.

At this point enemies start spamming their own skills so at first you can get 1-2 shotted by a double smg/shotgun guys. Progression slows notably here, mech upgrades cost much more mats per level and the third weapon farm is hard as hell (is there literally any counter to the boss invisibility? Maybe burning the ground) so i'm still using level 20-25 weapons (kaidan with the lvl 19 knuckle rip) and the sweep costs 35 ouch.

Sucks to like the game cause there is really no rushing. Gonna have to do my dailies and dispatches and try better when i drop some gold guns.

btw, just reached a new arena rank and unlocked the actual "random weapon substats" aka advanced modification.



You simply pay some cash and it rolls 3 substats, then if you like you can lock that one and pay to roll again. This sounds like an okay system as at least it doesn't cost stamina. I can see it being a money sink if you're insane and want perfect stats but for now weapons are replaceable and even the bare minimum is good.

Arena is hard and uses 7 units (for now?) but it's worth it.

This is literally HSR for me for months. Log in for a week for 10 free fates and leave till next patch. Whenever i think about returning, i look sunday, tribbie, saber and archer with no gear and the thought of farming for each one kills any desire to return again.

Lowest i got so far on stage is 6 turn for sniper girl + missle guy and 10 turns for the 3, but the third is the one with shotgun so i need his drops for frida... The other thing is that killing the bosses enough times ensure you a gold drop so if i have to sweep i'd rather sweep all 3 to rack that kill count, but my turn count is bad for now.

There are of course outliers outside story mode like Catherine who's batshit insane. And suicidal if you give in to curiosity and see how the auto battle is.

If you played into the breach it makes sense but otherwise it's still kinda meh. Be warned that when you select a mech it's more about the starting and frame, so if you pick 2 light 2 mid 1 heavy you can switch pilots of those. If you want sylvie you need a light mech, but i dont think there is any who start with rifle + shield so she can't do her thing until you get lucky.

"Pro" tip: Don't try to go max stars, just take fights you can win. Watch the arena gimmick too, sometimes enemies get huge buffs.

I feel tanks are actually strong in this mode since you don't want your dps to be benched for 2 fights. A healer helps but even with all parts, taking damage still leads to injured.

And you're right about stage 4 wow, i was scared but i should've skipped stage 3 and farmed that, the ez mode is much easier as the 2 bosses are near the spawn with no supports and they drop level 35~ weapons.

Yeah, i guess it's hard to write them when they're are either serious soldiers who fight or dont trust you or peppy gals. Emily and hong are tragic engineered but the first has fun and the other has anxiety. Dana has to play the "straight man" to kaidan and grant antics so she the serious one. Frida is evil but she's more smug type. Ana isn't that bad, her combat lines are friendly but she's pissed at you during her screentime.

Marcus too, he goes from hotblooded "rival" to cool friend super fast. So i wonder if Sylvie will change or she'll just say "trust nobody!" everytime she's on screen.

Fenrir is a weird design, he's just a minor thug in the story so idk the rat thing. He has one skill that lowers enemy move by 2 which makes him useful in some fights where the boss can escape and thats it.

See, the game was a little dumb regarding that. I've talked about it in the thread, but the devs went back and forth on whether or not the global launch was a real launch and not a soft launch. Therefore, no one can really agree whether the actual launch was back in May or a month ago.

All jokes aside, unlike Rememento, Black Beacon pissed a lot of people off and it's been a bumpy ride since then, and it never improved. Plus, a lack of a PC port doesn't help either. Both Etheria and Rememento had that. And now, 1.2, which started on July 15th, will last for three fucking months with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO.

The game had a Wilhelm scream in one cutscene, so shit continues to be cheaper than a prostitute with low rates. Regarding the game being kept alive, well, the answer is simple.

I bring this up because she looks like this.

You quickly find out Emily, Rosa, Sylvie and hong are "sisters" and part of some secret super soldier project so they might not even be "normal" (not defending but just a guess, i havent finished this story yet). She is 1,50m on her profile so she is short but the profiles don't convey height well. There are the weights for some pilots in the website (rosa being 166 and 46 kg seems unlikely).

Instead of getting Augusta's weapon, I decided to get Shorekeeper's instead. Lately, weapon banners has been horrible for me, so of course it took almost hard pity to get it. Now she has too much energy regen.

I slapped Augusta with Jihnsi's weapon and called it a day. She's super fun to play and even goes Super Saiyan.

I should clarify the issue is primarily outside Korea. That's not to say the Korean servers are entirely without problems either. The game bugs out and switches the game language to Japanese occasionally.

Perhaps it's time for black beacon to release their own bikini skins too...

Also star rail released another Vignettes in a Cup drinks mixing event and I have no right to be as amused by it as I am. It's a short basic event that you can do in an afternoon this time around but I have a fun time making visual abominations.

And the interactions this time are pretty fun.
