The whole reason it's so complicated to crossplay on Silver and Blood is because they don't want people rerolling.
In order for you to switch accounts, you need to make sure the game is connected to the same server.
Since the servers for both my PC and mobile are different. I can't link them...

Now, you can delete the registry files of the game to force it to switch servers, but how many tries is that going to take me?
 
ZZZ - Got done levelling Yixuan last week and she slaps. It's kind of crazy just how good she is. I cut about a minute and a half on SD, and easily got 9/9 on DA with a barely put together team+Yixuan.

Oh, I also won Caeser's sig wep in <=10 spins. My ZZZ account is totally rigged. I'm so sorry.

GI - There's a mini-event in Sumeru right now which is kind of like boardgame-wargames. It's a bit fun. Got all the rewards, but ended up dying in 4-3 (side quest). Going to be playing that some more instead of catching up on the mountains of side quests and epxloration backlog.

I will admit, giving her test run, this bitch is powerful as fuck. I almost regret not pulling for her. But alas, Ceasar....

Or if someone else gets my attention since I lost the 50/50. Will be dropping the game for the time being anyway.

Probably addiction speaking, but I've just been doing events and grinding, and I am really fond of the combat so I was like "Aw but I'm having fun while playing. Thankfully there's a skip so I can ignore the plot now that it's bullshit Wuxia."

Actually, how is the 2.0 plot? Is it as retarded as feared or is it passable?
 
A kiwi here recommended playing wuwa through steam if memory serves.

Is the login normal? Don't have to do any weird account shinanigans, do you? I'd make the move just to have the damn launcher popping up every time I quit the game.

Yeah, you have to log in for the first time when using Steam. It will hopefully, maybe stay that way.

Which now makes me wonder if Kuro ever fixed that weirdass thing where you have to login every time you go to the main menu instead of just exiting the game entirely.

She is quite adorable, but her name makes me think of Opie and Anthony.

Umamasume is more fun than a 4 year-old japanese gacha has any right to be. The characters and writing are pretty charming, too. It's a travesty it took so long to come over here.

Silver and Blood is ok so far. Temu Siegmeyer of Catarina is my favorite character design overall. Just wish it wasn't trapped in Windowed Mode hell

Quickly going back to my Xinyan glazing, one of my favorite things about her is her English voice. Fun fact, she shares her voice actress with Barbara.
It's weird when current day Hoyo won't let say, Escoffier's voice actress use her natural British voice, but they let Xinyan have a "WELL HOWWWWWDAYYYYYYY!" voice. Not that I'm complaining, of course.
She only appears maybe once a year (if we're lucky), so it's not like Hoyo is scrambling to recast Xinyan/Barbara. Her VA (Laura Stahl) is dating Albedo's voice actor (Khoi Dao) and he was one of SAG's biggest defenders. Granted, there's always a chance she WANTS to get back to working on Genshin, but if she agrees with the whole "Sign first, negotiate later bro" mentality Khoi has, I can't see her returning anytime soon.

Moral of the story: Don't get into English voice actors, stick with Seiyuus. :(

This year lantern rite doesn't even feature Xinyan, despite having like 27 characters appeared.

1) Hoyo do not handle the voice casting for EN side, nor even JP and KR. It's third party regional dubbing studios handling the cast. Therefore, it's EN voice director (whoever was at Formosa Group that time) responsibility for "y'all". SIDE global right now has that responsibility instead.
MHY games are established with USA first, so majority of EN (unfortunately) still needs to have American accent.

2) Reminding again how EN voice acting industry and/or video game works. For whatever the reasons (production procedure), most of the time, they only get the script and general idea/instruction. VAs do not even know who characters are or even look like. That's why you get:
EN Neuvillette attack voice lines are really really dramatic. Same with Barbara in first version and then tuned down be much much much much softer. Then Mika with "akshually".

Right, my bad. I know about the agencies and studios Hoyo go through for their voice actors, I just default to saying Hoyo out of habit.

(I must be a fake fan because I didn’t get to finish this year’s Lantern Rite. No Xinyan? 0/10)
