miko is very good but honestly she's just 5 star fischl. if you have c6 fischl i wouldn't say it's worth it considering the others you could get, and this is coming from someone who has miko at c2. i also have c1 yoimiya (both times accidental) and i definitely do not recommend her, she's awkward to play and is completely outclassed by most other pyro dps characters.

kazuha is and will probably always be meta so go for him if you like the character. i'm biased though, so i'm going to shill xilonen who has a very similar role (resistance shred debuffing) while also providing healing and synergizing very well with other natlan characters (and furina if you have her). she also doesn't need to swirl for her debuff which makes it a lot simpler. no need for double swirl setups and it still works against enemies with elemental auras like the hydro tulpa, for example. i've found myself replacing kazuha with her in basically any team that doesn't need his grouping. by all means though, if you don't like her or just prefer kazuha as a character then you can't go wrong with him.

I would only personally recommend Kazuha (although Xilonen is maybe better by most measures). I'm also biased because he's easily in my top 3 favorite characters, though. Extremely solid support that has aged quite well, even if he is being gradually replaced. I think he's pretty fun.
Yae doesn't have particularly good synergy with any current year DPSes; her best role is as a quickswap/support for Tighnari. Unfortunately, Fischl (especially at C6) tends to outperform her in every scenario except maybe the one I just mentioned.
Yoimiya is nice as a character, but I don't think I need to be the billionth person to say "she's not that great".
Both feel pretty jank to play IMO, but I've only used them in trials and events and don't actually own them.
When in doubt, I would pick the supports over damage dealers. And just remember that Genshin is not an awfully difficult game and it's fine to pull characters you like a lot, even if they aren't the best.

The weapon selection on chronicled banner is more interesting then the characters, though if you are rolling for account power and are skipping Escoffier you are missing the forest for the trees.

This is comment from supposedly Corey Landis - HSR Welt literally begging for players support because according to a scuttlebutt, MHY will replace VAs even if they are willing to go back to work, just for maximizing profits. Welt doesn't have missing EN voicelines as far as I know, Idk why he'd be so afraid. Also, that's up to MHY wanting to have more Welt scenes or not. So far, the ones got replaced are the ones deciding not to work.

It's still a long way til the next big region to see how thing goes. Unfortunately as long as Corina keeps doing recording session, she's likely to stay. I don't think MHY will do anything and just let EN side sort things out by themselves.

both genshin and wuwa just show you what most people picked, assuming more people are right than wrong. doesn't help with more exotic builds, but the idea is to make it easy to know what to do.
you have to keep in mind most people are fucking awful, either because they're lazy or simply don't care. yet as a developer you have to cater to those people too, without dumbing down the game too much otherwise you lose the players who aren't lazy and stupid.

ofc I'd just go a step further and give people a guaranteed upgrade so all they have to grind and fill bars and shit over time, not think. but companies really love their endless RNG because they think people never catching the carrot makes them more money, probably without considering how many people burn out or not engage with the system in the first place (but then still have to design around them). just think what it would look like everyone having a char with the same stats (sans weapon/cons ofc) as a baseline after 5-6 weeks...

never really like kazuha tbqh, always felt a bit too clunky for me. also farming VV is ass.

Eternity Euphoria is a-go! Also, I used the 6-star letter and got an Eternity copy from it. Ugh, why doesn't it prioritize a character you don't have?
