Compared to
Nikke's 2.5 and
Reverse 1999's 1.5, WuWa just feels...underwhelming.
Anniversary rewards don't seem that special compared to other patches, won't even get a single guarantee even with Welkin + BP .. is it Kurover, Kurobros ?
Anyway, Zani's gacha animation for when you pull her, and her elusive second ult animation .
Fortunately I saved my guarantee for her, hopefully I can scrape enough to get her and her sig — Ciaccona wouldn't be too bad either since she applies both spectro frazzle and aero erosion stacks and would be super useful for the Zani dps // Cartethyia dps meta .

New character, goonbait Mihara SSR and Siren for the half anniversary .. these are big events so Shiftup is expected to be pretty generous as always .
For the popularity poll, Rapipi won, so players will be getting a free skin for her later this year, as was the case for Red Hood last year . Like mentor, like student .
Speaking of which, there are these two outfits for Grave and Cinderella, and i pray they aren't the typical $60 outfits, a single good skin in this game can cost as much as a whole other game ..
HSR
I reinstalled HSR recently after the Fate collab leaks dropped . Got a free Ruan Mei, had a guarantee but i splurged it on Castorice because of how much they were shilling her . My last proper team was Feixiao FUA, with 7 other fully built teams that have gone obsolete with powercreep, so she should theoretically help me atleast reasonably clear content .
The new region looks kinda lackluster, the maps are big but empty so they give you speed boosts to traverse it, story is as inane as usual so i just put on an autoclicker while i watch a show or something .
Remembrance summon meta was hyped up to be this new gamechanging thing pre-3.0 but it's still kinda whatever, probably because of the fact that it's a gacha game . If a new gimmick comes out in a game it's good to have a lot of characters that utilize said gimmick in unique ways so players can use them as a skill expression — but since this is a gacha, you only get a slow drip of pre-curated characters that only function optimally in their own best teams, no creativity in gameplay whatsoever .
I would also shit on the HSR anniversary but it's overdone and considering how the WuWa first anniversary is gonna go .. ( allegedly ) i can only say it is what it is .
Not much new news for GFL2 or Genshin at the moment, i think .
